Loosing my father unexpectedly was a great shock. Gail, Edward and all of the team at R Wallace & Sons were excellent, and helped us ensure that his funeral was as he would have wished. From the first contact all of the way through they took care of everything with utmost care and compassion, and the day of the funeral itself was as perfect as it could be. We cannot thank them enough for their excellent service.

Their personal touches when communicating with the family were simply outstanding. We were able to forge an open, honest and trusting relationship with them from the start, which was very important to us during this difficult time.

From calling and asking for my my mum’s body to be collected till being dropped back home after the service, the service received was impeccable.  All the staff were very professional, respectful and patient.  They know their job inside out, even with new COVID restrictions in place, they thought about everything that needed to be done for me and took away all the stress, they kept me fully informed at all the stages and ensured I was fully aware of what going to happen, I cannot thank them enough or speak of the highly enough they helped make a very distressing time easier for the whole family.

Eddie was very helpful and knowledgeable in every aspect of mums funeral. All our wishes were respected and carried out. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were friendly, caring and professional. Gail did a fantastic job of making mum look lovely so my dad could view her. Eddie was always available to answer any questions. R Wallace Funeral Directors, in my opinion have gone beyond their remit and have with all due consideration for the affected family, provided a comprehensive service. They are always so helpful, kind and respectful they always go above and beyond, and are always just at the end of the phone if you ever need them. I would always recommend R. Wallace & sons.

R Wallace & Son were excellent at looking after everything at my Father's recent funeral.
Edward was easily accessible and communicated extremely well, especially in these tricky times when we could not meet face to face. They were always at the end of a phone or replied efficiently to email. When we couldn't get the music we wanted in the format we needed, Edward sorted everything. Edward's attention to detail was superb and his suggestions made for a more personal touch. I would recommend without reservation.
