We have used R Wallace and Son Ltd, Funeral Directors as a family on a few previous sad occasions and cannot recommend them highly enough.  They are very professional, friendly and caring in what they do.   From ringing them to notify that my mother in law had passed away, right through to the end of the service at the crematorium nothing was too much trouble to them and they assisted us every step of the way.

Wallace’s funeral arrangements were second to none and there was nothing I could fault about the service they gave from start to finish.
They were friendly, relaxed and professional and explained everything clearly throughout the whole process.
Nothing was too much trouble in sorting out arrangements and they tailored everything perfectly to what the family wished.
Communication was excellent....always responding to phone calls and email communications prompt. There was no second guessing where we were at with arrangements; Wallace’s kept us informed every step of the way.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, they do a superb job; creating a bespoke, dignified funeral service for your dearly departed.

As a family we have used the services of R Wallace & Son three times now.  Each time has been an easy experience, Stuart, Edward and Ryan have all dealt with us in a dignified and professional way but with an easy and friendly manner which puts you at ease in a difficult time, as does Stuart’s well timed sense of humour!

This family run business recently organised the cremation and celebration of life service for my mum. 
Everything ran flawlessly and with great efficiency

There are not enough words to express my thanks to Edward, family and colleagues for their dealings with my mum’s funeral. 
Funerals are very emotional but
R Wallace & Sons showed me, kindness and true compassion, nothing was ever too much  trouble. The timely communications regarding the service etc were exceptional  and done with empathy and respect.  
Everything ran very smoothly on the Special day. 

Well recommended, if you want that personal touch, when saying goodbye to a loved one.

The service we received from Edward and the team was excellent. Very respectful and compassionate but it felt like there was a very human , personal approach. The celebrant Michelle delivered a very heartwarming and what felt like a personal eulogy/service. 
Edward was very responsive and we would not hesitate to recommend them and will use them again when the time comes

I wanted to say thank you. You all did an amazing job. I can't say thank you enough. From meeting you on that morning at my nana's house you made everything so easy and we were able to have all the things that we wanted without any stress. You were so friendly and professional. The order of service was beautiful, the flowers were amazing and the music was perfect.

Thank you so much for your kind compassionate caring attention- you enabled us to have the service we wanted, it helped that the celebrant Julianne worked with us to have a servicde that was not overwhelmed by grief but that enabled us to remember our father with laughter and love
The funeral directors kept in touch constantly and guided us through the process with no rush, no hard sell and gave us the funeral we know dad would have thought was 'fine'.

At a time of great distress for the family, R Wallace & Son provided us with the support we needed and took over as much of the organisation of events as anybody could, enabling the children to concentrate on the job of supporting our Dad, the dedicated partner of our dear, departed mother for over 75 years. They provided a single point of contact, Edward, who must have had a difficult task of coordinating the communication with the  three sons and is obviously electronically savvy. He organised and informed us of everything, to our wishes and responded quickly to our requests. His kind reverence for our mother was noteable and there was never a hint of impersonality in his dealings with us. It was as if he knew the family, which indeed, being a long established company, his father did. The actual ceremony, which was conducted in a celebratory style, progressed perfectly, from beginning to end and was, as everybody voiced, an incredibly moving and fitting tribute to Mum. Nobod ... y wants to have to call on the services of a  funeral directors, but we all do eventually and, when that happens, I can think of no finer Company I would recommend than R Wallace and son, without any hesitation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! more
