Jill at the Loughborough Funeralcare centre was a real professional and just what we needed at this difficult time. She helped us to make the right choices for my dear brother's funeral and was always happy to respond to queries quickly throughout the whole process. She helped us by providing an excellent celebrant who led the funeral service with such attention to detail and empathy that it was as if she knew Steve personally. The team who brought Steve to the chapel were also thoroughly professional and kind. I have used the Coop Funeral Services before on a number of occasions and they never fail to do a good job.

Poor on communication. Was told I would be updated but heard nothing so had to ring. No answer on several occasions. Eventually got through to a central number who took a msg requesting a call from the local office. No call was made . Was several days later before finally got a call and an update. Was somewhat disappointed with the service.

At a very sad time for all of us we used the funeral service to help us. They were extremely useful in guiding us through all the clerical details required and the procedures to follow.
If we had any queries they were invaluable in answering them.
I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Unfortunately this has been a very stressful experience for us. 
The team have been dishonest. Initially we were told that the crematorium wasn’t able to perform the service until almost 4 weeks after my mother’s passing. We rang the crematorium directly and they advised that this wasn’t the case. The staff member then backtracked and said they didn’t have any staff available for any earlier dates and that was the real reason why. They were quick to take my deposit of over £2200 at the initial appointment. They said they would refund me fully however I’m still waiting despite numerous calls to them, I’m going to have to go through my bank now to fight for this to be reimbursed to my account and I’ll probably take them to court over their actions. This is not what you expect to have to contend with when you lose your mother and they should be ashamed.
We approached the coop branch in Pinfold gate for help, they could do the funeral a week earlier and they seem to be much better run outfit. Be aware that each different branch is a franchise and they have no dealings with other branches under the coop umbrella. Be careful when you call the coop out of hours if your loved one passes away as they are likely to end up at the cattle market branch, however I’d strongly advise you to insist that they are taken to the Pinfold Gate branch. My elderly father rang the number after my mother’s passing and wasn’t aware of what would materialise, and I’m left trying to sort out this mess still in addition to organising everything around the funeral! So, take home message is avoid this place at all costs!

I was planning my mum's funeral on my own and it felt like a daunting task to get it right but Jill at Loughborough Funeralcare was so warm and supportive. Jill seemed to quickly understand just the sort of ceremony that would be right for us and she guided me every step of the way to plan a funeral that was just right for mum.

I have used the Loughborough Market Place branch twice in the past year. I found Jill, in the office, to be very caring and understanding and it was a pleasure to deal with her under the circumstances. Michael the funeral director and his associates were also very kind and the whole process from start to finish ran very smoothly, on both occasions. If required I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone else who required such services.

From start to finish the funeral and the arranging went really well, we were so pleased.
Jill was amazing, so easy to talk to and feel comfortable with but professionally throughout, very helpful and informative, Jill made it much easier than we expected arranging a funeral to be. On the day of the funeral, again all went smoothly and Helen and the team were brilliant. The flowers we had chosen were stunning, absolutely beautiful.
