I want to that the whole team for how they treated me and my mum from start to finish.
Trish was amazing, and really supported us making us feel looked after at such a difficult time. Communication was excellent and very empathetic.
My dad who passed, was treated with the ultimate dignity and respect. His funeral at the natural burial ground was more than perfect and just what he wanted.
I cannot thank Cherish enough

From start to finish Trish and her colleagues made what was a difficult and emotional time so much easier.
Everything was handled sympathetically and clearly with much greater flexibility available in their funeral options compared to many others.
The funeral went smoothly and professionally and the staff were very courteous and helpful.

I would just like to say thank you to all at Cherish for their support during a very difficult time. The professionalism and compassion shown by the staff at all stages of the process from initial contact through to the day was exemplary. All questions and queries we're dealt with in a calm, timely manor. With this being a military funeral we had specific requirements that needed accommodating with different parties being involved at different times of the funeral. Cherish facilitated and liaised with all parties and we all felt we had made the correct choice, in entrusting this most of important occasions to yourselves. Again, thank you very much from the Callan's, Burrell's and extended Royal Marine Family and friends.

The woman we met initially was pleasant but she was fairly new to the
Role and apparently had only been involved with one natural burial previously
A few days later after I had driven for overan hour to deliver the suitable garment for my husband to be buried in, she contacted me to say could I bring the green form from the Registrar, at the time overwhelmed by the administration I was very concerned that I had missed a vital form.This spoilt some 'down time' I was looking forward to. Fortunately she contacted me about an hour later to say the form had been emailed to the Head office. A little thing perhaps but at a time of stress not something that should have happened.
Similarly when I asked for a briefing about what would happen on the day of the funeral she assured me that I would be contacted the day before. This was not good enough, the family needed information sooner.
I have to say when Mark contacted me after I complained about the time scale he was very cle ... ar and reassuring.
On the day Mark and his 'team were marvellous, they were professional and kind and I would certainly recommend them more

What can I say?  There aren’t enough stars to rate Cherish Funeral Directors! 

From the first contact, through to the final day of the funeral, and then on to the collection of the ashes, Cherish have been absolutely fantastic! 

Every single person that I spoke to in the company, either through personal contact, via telephone conversation or email, was professional, considerate, sensitive, understanding and empathetic towards my needs during a difficult period of extreme grief. I could not have chosen a better company to steer, advise and guide me through the process! 

I dealt with Trish, who guided me through the procedure at every stage. She was compassionate, patient, warm and extremely professional in her manner. Trish produced the most amazing, personalised Order of Service, where nothing was too much trouble. It knocked spots off all the other company’s products for quality, accommodating photographs, poems and personal messages.She ... addressed each of my concerns of every aspect with due diligence and dedication.Trish organised everything; contacting the church, the vicar, the crematorium, the newspapers, the florists and the printers. She took all of the stress out of every aspect, by keeping me fully informed with all the arrangements. On the day of the funeral I received a text message from Trish, informing me that her thoughts were with me and my family as Mum was about to be sent on her final journey. How sweet was that!?

Earlier we were introduced to Matt, who supervised the pallbearers. Then on the day of the funeral, Matt explained everything that was going to happen. He led us at every stage, even providing the company umbrellas! He accompanied us and directed us from the limousine into the Church and then guided us to our seats beside the coffin. Matt and his colleagues even joined us inside the Church and sang along to the hymns. Matt was respectful, compassionate and considerate. His instructions were reassuring and invaluable, as we were guided by his leadership at every stage.

I was touched by the little things which comforted and reassured me profoundly.

I have not heard of any other Funeral Director express or exhibit so much care, consideration and attention to detail.

I was extremely grateful and comforted in the knowledge that we were in the expert hands of truly caring Professionals.

The team-work at Cherish was exemplary! My family and friends were so delighted with the outcome. Everyone commented on how amazing Cherish were in delivering a personalised and memorable ceremony.

I was fortunate and privileged to meet Tim, Mr Cherish himself, who drove us to the ceremonies. He should be extremely proud that his mission, passion, ethos and high standards permeate throughout the whole company. 

I have no hesitation in recommending Cherish Funeral Directors, especially if you want to give your loved one the send-off they deserve! more

All the staff were very helpful from day one . Trish was always available if we had any questions prior to the funeral and did an excellent job with the order of service. On the day Matt and his team were all very respectful and professional talking us through each stage  and ensuring that we were supported from the start to the end of the funeral

I can not thank every one enough at cherish the whole team are amazing there not enough words but they took care of my husband who was only 36 they went above and beyond to help me and my family in this terrible time they made me a video montage of his life a memory order of service book they beat all the other service providers not just with price but the care they put into being there for you even at 3am in the morning thank you again every one of you for looking after Simon amazing job xx

I can’t praise Cherish enough for the way they handled my mother’s funeral from day one. Mel was lovely and I felt very at ease with her. She helped up through the process of organising the flowers, order of service, etc. and answered any questions we asked. We felt she had got everything under total control. We didn’t meet Matt and his team until the day of the funeral. They were all very professional, polite and helpful and the whole day ran really smoothly. Amazing customer service from start to finish, we could not have wished for anymore. Mel and the team were so nice and really made such a stressful and sad time so easy and straightforward. The price was also a massive bonus as very cheap compared to other funeral directors. Thankyou cherish!
