It's hard to know what to say in a sad time such as this, but all I can say Is that I can't see how the whole service and arrangements could of been approved upon.
It has been a long time since as a family we have had to deal with a bereavement.
From the initial meeting right to the final service and afterwards, the staff have been professional, caring and kept us informed at all stages of the process.

Kayleigh and all the staff helped to make my mums funeral perfect. She walked at the front of mums casket all the way to bring mum back to us at Charnock Richards crematorium. She looked splendid in full regalia tophat and cane even the sky was crying tears of rain.Then we saw the casket flowers billowing white with angel fethers of marabou and I knew mum had got her angel wings Thank you Sylvia and all the family.

Thank you Kayleigh, Sarah and Sue at Cookson Tyrer Funeralcare, who made a difficult time bearable. They were so kind and supportive while I planned my mother's funeral and they gave me all the time I needed to make decisions about the type of service, the celebrant, casket and flowers.
While I'm here I'd like to thank the Enchanted Florist, Burscough for the absolutely beautiful flowers (which 12 days after the funeral are still looking gorgeous) and Paul Griffiths, the celebrant, who spoke so well.
The funeral service itself was perfect from beginning to end and I was touched by the kind and respectful service of the drivers and pallbearers. The funeral was conducted with such grace and dignity and was both a fitting tribute to my mother and a celebration of her life.
A word about the cost: Cookson Tyrer Funeralcare provided care for my mother, a beautiful service, a hearse, two cars, fees for the crematorium and the celebrant, as well as the flowers and it all came well within the budget I'd set. In terms of average cost, it was at the lower end of the scale for a funeral in the UK today.
The whole family were also impressed with the way the funeral was handled and I'd like to echo their sentiments here: you did Mum proud. Thank you. xxxx
