Unfortunately we had a rocky start to our organisation of Mum's funeral but the Co-op quickly intervened and things were back on track. The compassion, reverence, and sympathy shown to all of our family was amazing. Karen was extremely thorough and organised and her support when visiting Mum in the Chapel of rest was amazing. On the actual day of the funeral all the supporting staff were so kind and supportive. Sue went over and above with her attention to detail for which we will be eternally grateful for. Westgate Co-op had a tricky beginning but Mum's final day was perfect.

I lost my only son in tragic circumstances, I was left alone to organise everything for him This was my the last time I would be doing something for HIM !

They were very patient whist I tried to cover every detail.

It was far from easy, I was surprised there was a minimum order of service books as I knew our gathering would be small. There was an extra charge when I changed my mind. The hearse was exactly to my wishes. The service, eulogy and music was Oliver to a 'T'.

Dad had a pre paid funeral plan with the Co-op and this is such a brilliant idea. The Westgate co-op sorted everything out, from one initial phone call, with only a bit of help needed from us about personal preferences for flowers, music, photos for the Order of Service. This was extremely useful and allowed us to sort out other stuff instead of having to deal with the ins and outs of what was needed. They organised the extras we asked for efficiently and on the day, everything went smoothly. Staff professional and understanding at all times and responded immediately to any requests or communications. Would certainly recommend co-op and particularly the purchase of a pre- paid plan. My husband and I will certainly be purchasing for ourselves.

Nothing was too much trouble. I did get to see Dad in the chapel of rest (my own choice) and Dad was treat with total respect. As a family everything was explained so we understood what the process was going to be.

The order of service was so smart, dignified and a perfect representation of Dad.

On the day the staff all wore pale blue ties as to Dad's football colours and I was so very touched.

The celebrant was excellent, interpretated all of our words into such a lovely service.

I can't thank the staff enough for a making such a heartbreaking time just that little bit easier

Sue was incredible when dealing with dads arrangements. He wanted a direct cremation and it was handled with love and care. Very quick to pick Dad up from the hospital and keep in their care. Couldn’t ask for more

Sue and Tom who arranged and conducted with the minister the funeral were fantastic. Allowed myself and dad to grieve but took care of all the arrangements. Explained finances clearly but ensured mum got her wishes. A beautiful service conducted by the Revd. David Greenwood who was very personable and made everyone who attended feel even closer to mum.

I would like to thank the Co-Op Funeral Care, Westgate, for the excellent work they did organizing my brother's funeral. My contacts were with Sue and Jenny, who were always approachable and supportive. I was fully involved in the entire decision making. At a distressful time, I found them to be both efficient and compassionate.

Also, Tom deserves great credit for directing the funeral service. As I am seriously ill, I had to watch via video stream. I found the service to be dignified and moving.

Co-Op Funeral Care Westgate, Morecambe is an extremely professional company. I cannot praise them highly enough.
