The funeral was handled with great sensitivity and care and attention to detail, taking into account the wishes of both the deceased and the family.  We were consulted at every stage of the arrangement from type of service, flowers, coffin type, celebrant, order of service, donations etc.  We always felt included and valued and respected.  We would thoroughly recommend the Co-op funeral service and cannot thank them enough for the way the funeral day went.

I’ve got to say this was my first experience of arranging a funeral and Liv Thompson took really excellent care of me .I felt like I was the only person she was dealing with and I know that most definitely was not the case. Her manner was always respectful with sympathy and understanding and she kept up contact throughout guiding me through such an overwhelming time superbly. 
The attitude towards dad was so lovely , talking about him like he was still here and treating him with such respect. several times throughout the run up to the funeral and on the day I was told he would be well looked after which was very comforting and reassuring.
The order of service was absolutely perfect and everyone at the church commented how lovely it was.
The funeral day went off perfectly and the undertaker and the drivers were very polite and respectful and again guided us throughout the funeral perfectly. This terribly sad experience was made so much easier with the care of all the staff and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did.

They were brilliant from start to finish, they came to my home to discuss plans and accommodated everything I asked for. My husbands funeral was not in anyway your average funeral with lots of specific details at his request and they carried them out to the letter. I would absolutely recommend the Co op, I got regular updates in person and over the phone at each and every stage. They are very helpful and empathetic when you need guidance on what was a very upsetting time for myself. In particular Gordon and Maisie from Lancaster and Linda and Lisa from Bury
