Well what can I say, unfortunately I lost both my mum and dad within weeks of each other and the care and compassion I’ve received in Bournes has been absolutely excellent, they have carried out all of my wishes of how I wanted the funeral to go, can’t recommend them enough 🙏

I have no words to describe how wonderful the service is at Bourne’s. From the first initial phone call to being dropped at the wake it has been completely stress free. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of the staff & I can say hand on heart that my dad was very well taken care of.

We couldn’t fault the service that Bourne’s provided throughout. After the shock passing of beloved family member, Bourne’s were very sensitive but attentive to the type of funeral we wanted to celebrate the life of our family member. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had before and after the funeral and ensured that everything was arranged and sorted for the day of the funeral. Flower arrangements on the coffin were perfect and they managed to capture the personality of our family member. The passing of loved family member is heartbreakingly difficult to face, but Bourne’s made it that little easier to face. I cannot thank them all enough.

Losing our dad was incredibly hard, but knowing his wishes were carried out with such perfection, style and grace comforted us all. The way you cared for our dad will never be forgotten. This is the second time we have, as a family, used Bournes and could not recommend them enough. They not only made sure the day went as smoothly as possible they went one step further, embracing the pink theme of the funeral and offering so much support in the lead up to the day. As a company they really do care and respect the deceased and the family that are left behind and it makes a terrible time that little bit easier to deal with.
5 stars doesn’t really say how good they are as a company.

I would highly recommend Bournes Funeral services, Ben and all the staff was outstanding, they looked after my mum so well after she passed away, the staff made sure everything was done to every little detail with what we wanted , they were so kind , professional, couldn’t have wished for a better company, nothing was to much trouble for them. Also wanted to mention Jenny hall for doing my mum’s service, she also was first class so kind & thoughtful in a difficult time. Once again have to thank Bournes again for her services.

I found the staff of Bournes courteous and Kind especially Ben. The vicar made fundamental mistakes in his delivery at the service but not Bournes fault. My issue is I ordered 75 service sheets but only ended up with 25 which I was not aware of on the day. I had been hopeful as retired navy people came from all over the country came to honour my dad those that could would have logged into Bournes obituary website which they would have found via the service sheet. But now I am in the position of needing to send these service sheets to people all over the country to people whose addresses I do not know. I was hopeful if they had known anything about it they may if they could have supported We Remember Submariners
