This review speaks for itself as this is the fourth time we have asked John Weir to help and assist us in arranging a final farewell for our grandparents, dad and recently my beloved mum. We wouldn't go to anyone else.

From the initial help in taking our loved ones into their care, from helping us with funeral arrangements, we were not rushed and treated with kindness throughout.

Julia at Parkwood has been so kind and helpful with her professional expertise in making sure everything was perfect from order or service, the right celebrant, to the day before, running through everything to make sure mums farewell went smoothly and remembered lovingly.

I visited mum at the Chapel of Rest which again was dealt with kindness, dignity and the ladies made sure I was ok. Mum was so restful and at peace. I cant thank you all enough for that.

The John Weir team on the day Shane and colleagues again met us with kindness, professional and gave mum dignity with walking her down her home road before beginning her journey to Vinters Park. It was pouring with rain and they even sheltered us with umbrellas and gave us ladies a rose from the main wreath which was so thoughtful.

Again I cannot thank all of them enough and I am sure there were plenty that I did not get to meet that made mums send off perfect.

We have felt taken care of & supported throughout the whole process of organising our Dad’s funeral. Totally professional and respectful were the gentlemen on the day of the service. I wanted to arrange a funeral for my wife whilst my daughter who lives in Australia was in the UK. John Weir's were excellent and Julia Stevens at Parkwood in particular went above and beyond to help that to happen for us.
Simon and the guys on the day of the funeral were also excellent and respectful.

Everyone so kind and caring. Julia in Parkwood office is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She explains everything in detail and will go over things if you are not clear on them. 

Kevin and his colleagues were very courteous and professional from taking my husband from home to bringing him to the chapel for burial.  Everyone has been lovely.  Thank you John Weir.

I have used John Weir funeral directors for both my parents who sadly died within 18 months of each other. 
I have found the staff extremely helpful and professional and go above and beyond to fulfill the families wishes.

Julia was very helpful and considerate. I could not attend on the day due to a covid infection but my wife has told me that everything went smoothly and professionally. No one enjoys the funeral of a loved one, but the situation was made a lot better by all of the John Weir staff.
