From start to finish they helped us with everything, despite complicated issues regarding the need to arrange the funeral quickly because of overseas relatives. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Albert Parr were brilliant, we were able to give John the funeral he deserved. Sarah, Dawn and James couldn’t do enough for us, they recommended a lovely celebrant too. We could visit John when we wanted to. They were all friendly but respectful which we appreciated.

We could not have wished for better service from this family run funeral directors. Dawn was very helpful before, during and after the service . Her recommendations and kind manner made everything so much easier to deal with at a such sad time.In fact everyone we met connected to the funeral directors was very kind and considerate. At a difficult time the funeralzone website brought potentially complicated arrangements and messaging requirements into one place. Although some of those notified of the bereavement would not be too comfortable with sharing this news online – or with links to FaceBook, it was discreet and very much capturing the spirit of the age. Albert Parr & Sons were exemplary in their service and use of the funeralzone site.

The service received from Albert Parr & Sons were 5 star. I went to them after attending a funeral that they had been part of. I am very happy that I did. I really felt like they understood my family’s wishes. They were very respectful of our choices. They guided me through the whole process which can be daunting. The first point of call was Sarah and she made myself and my sister at ease and comfortable. The guys on the day were amazing and really handled the day respectfully and managed it so well that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I would definitely recommend their services.

At a very sad time, Albert Parr & Sons, couldn't have been more compassionate and understanding. They were there every step of the way to guide and advise us. They really understood and delivered the type of funeral that what we wanted for our loved one. I would recommend their services without hesitation. This was the first time any of us in our close family had been faced with the daunting task of planning a big funeral. This was while we were still in complete shock, exhausted, with family members calling from all over the world offering love and help- but also asking us when the date of the ceremony was so they could arrange their travel plans.

Other Funeral Directors in the area told us they were "sorry for our loss", but it is looking like a couple of months before you'll get a "slot" in any of the places they were affiliated with. It felt like dealing with a business. However, from our first conversation with Sara at Albert Parr & Sons (who came highly recommended by a family member), things clicked into motion without us even knowing. It felt comforting to talk to someone with so much experience, but that communicates with the patience of a friend, and not a business. We had been left with no guidelines, but through talking to Sara we soon realised how much we already knew about what mum would've wanted.

After that first call we not only felt a weight lifted off our chests because we'd found a true ally that we knew would be by our side the whole way-- but we also already had the perfect date set, in a place that worked 100% with our needs. This didn't even feel rushed, Sara just got to know us, the family, and the loved one we had lost and suggested ideal places that would suit our needs.

This attentive, personalised and efficient service continued in the lead up to the funeral and beyond. Albert Parr & Sons never wavered from their goal of "doing what is best for mum", and gave us advice and support that went beyond the usual logistical aspects. I can't thank Sara and the team enough. We already look back on those extremely difficult weeks with some fondness and pride -- as we really worked together to organise a beautiful day for mum. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The funeral was on 31st May 2018. Albert Parr and Sons was the perfect choice.

The owner Dawn, her son James and thier team, thank you so much for your excellent work.
I lost my husband after a short illness against cancer. A healthy man who was never ill to 3 weeks after being diagnosed he was gone. She was compassionate, gave very good advice and more importantly she was keen to deliver what's right for me and my daughter. The celebrant, Ms May Andrews whom we choose did an excellent work as well. The funeral was simple and warm and totally reflected what he would have wanted and gave us the time to say goodbye. Thank you to Dawn and her team all at Albert Parr and Sons for making a very painful time bearable and memorable.

Sarah was a real gem. She was kind and compassionate. Her assistance every step during this difficult time is highly appreciated and will always remain in our thoughts. She arranged my mum’s funeral from the very beginning which was excellent. She helped me with obtaining to get the Death Registered within two by phoning the Registrar’s Office in order for my sister from Canada not to miss the final good bye. She ordered the flowers, downloaded my mum’s favourite songs for the Cremation service and also was in constant contact with the Church and Crematorium and kept me posted all the way.

I would highly recommend Albert Parr as they Caring, reliable and also affordable.

Sarah was on hand to provide help every step of the way in any way she could and James and the boys took good care of us all on the day of the funeral. James particularly provided gentle support and guidance for the members of the family who carried my mother's coffin.

Working with Sarah at Albert Parr & Sons to arrange my husbands funeral was perfect. She was very supportive and attentive to my wishes during what was a particularly difficult time and I would not hesitate to recommend their services. The service at the crematorium went smoothly and the pall bearers did a great job. I liked the fact that they were local, family owned and run for several generations.
