Helen was struck down with pancreatic cancer very suddenly and died after 4 weeks of suffering. She was very specific about her Cremation wanting a non religious, very private ceremony with her choice of music and the opportunity of relatives and special close friends to be able to say their tributes, and her close relatives to arrange and conduct the ceremony themselves.

Lewis Soloman bent over backwards to help us achieve exactly what we wanted, allowed us to visit in the chapel of rest at anytime and gave advice, with lots of compassion, on how we could achieve what we wanted.

The result was, according to those present, that the ceremony went off without a hitch and was amongst one of the best funerals they have ever been too.

We owe so much thanks to the staff at Lewis Soloman's for making the most saddest day of our lives one of the best. Many many thanks.

We had because of covid and other the fact martins son  couldn’t be at a funeral, as he lived in Canada, we decided on cremation only with a view later in the year to have a memorial lunch and to scatter martins ashes. 

Solomon Lewis did not make this feel this was second best and made us feel this was the right decision and supported us all the way

Excellent service, I was a complete novice at organising funerals and they talked me through the process and explained everything with speedy replies whenever I had any queries. I'd definitely recommend them based on the service I received.

I can not express enough the efforts and attention to detail that the arranger put into ensuring my husbands funeral was of such a standard that I know he would of been proud to attend himself. No words can begin to describe the pain of loosing your husband at such a young age but she made it a little less painful and the whole process easy to navigate and ensure I was able to give my husband the very best in these strange times. No task was too much for her and she ensured everything was just right. After my husband being moved from the original provider I was anxious due to the original experience I had received but the arranger was able to help me put that experience aside and ensure my husband was cremated with dignity, respect and love. The personal touches allowed his family and friends to feel close to him at a time when we all felt so lost without him. Thank you; everything you did was exceptional.
