I cannot express sufficiently in words the truly exceptional, and utterly professional service my family and I received from all the team at  F. A. Albins (Crayford). Joanne, Steve and the whole team made what was a truly
emotional experience, from start to finish, all  the more bearable and allowed us the chance as a family
to fully celebrate the life of my late father in true style. My eternal thanks to all.

The past few months have been awful has my sister and I watched our mum fight against cancer. When our mum passed away we were both lost finding ourselves having to deal with funeral directors, informing people mum had passed and at the same time coming to terms with what had just happened. My sister and I both chose F.A.Albin has we wanted our mum to leave from my sister's house on the day of the funeral and F.A.Albin had a premises in Crayford. On the day our mum passed they collected mum from the residential home and took her away. When I called Crayford, Dawn answered the phone I said 'good morning you are looking after my mum' and her response was hello Sarah how are you. My sister and I knew from that moment that mum was safe. That someone was caring for her. She asked me how I was and really cared about my response. We arranged to visit a few days later to discuss the funeral. Nothing was too much trouble. We was made to feel so welcome and at home. Dawn was really in ... terested to hear about our mum and gave us ideas for the funeral and by the end of the meeting we had arranged the funeral with a date and time. We later arranged to come and visit mum at the Chapel of Rest in the Crayford store where Jo took over looking after us. She prepared us for what to expect and made us feel so relaxed. One thing that stuck in my mind was that she said that of a night once they had tucked her in they would leave the lamp on so that she was not in the dark. We both thought that was such a lovely thought. The day of the funeral well I cannot fault it. Our mum had the best send off. It was beautiful. It was well organised, staff were outstanding especially Steve, Dawn and Jo. Our mum would have loved it. Thank you.  more

So helpful Joann in the office so helpful from booking funeral to seeing us family and organising the funeral. On the day Steve and drivers were composed, professional, and fantastic informing us what was happening no rushing around everything was taken in their own stride. This is the second funeral F A Albins have done for me in the last few months, they go above and beyond. They make a trying time easier and for that I cannot thank them enough. The respect and consideration goes a long way. From Jo in the office showing compassion and making me realise I needed to grieve as well as focus on getting the funeral right, to the guys showing all the respect to the deceased and the living. All the small touches along way.

The whole process from start to finish, Jo and the team at Albin & Sons looked after us as a family.  They understood our needs and were very professional, but at the same time made us feel at ease.   We knew that Dad was being looked after and in good hands.  On the day of the funeral we couldn’t have asked for anything  more, nothing was any trouble. They took time with us and we felt that a very difficult day was made easier with their help. Members of our family informed us that it was probably the best funeral they’d ever been to. Many thanks to Danny and the team for their sympathy and dignity. I cannot thank them enough.  We’re now learning to live without Dad, however we will never forget your support.
We would not hesitate to use Albin’s in the future.

We were referred too a lovely lady named Sacha, who was our celebrant through out the service, she was also amazing.

What can I say about Albins. The service is superb. A year ago they helped us with the passing of mum now a year later they have helped us with the passing of my father in law. My family have always used Albins as the service recieved is always personal and they are ready to answer your questions. Would recommend to anyone as the time and quality of the staff are excellent and the support is there when you need it most.

Everyone at Albin's has been fantastic at such a difficult time.
Beautiful premises, welcoming and comfortable.
Joanne was supportive throughout. Friendly, sympathetic, efficient!
The team on the day of the funeral were very kind, approachable, professional.
Elaine and her catering team were brilliant, an excellent service at a reasonable price...and at relatively short notice!
We always knew we would use Albin's and we weren't disappointed. Would highly recommend.
One tiny bit of feedback, we had already set up a tribute page by the time we heard about the Albin's tribute page. If we had known about this earlier we would have made more use of the Albin's page. BUT that's the only slight negative!
