I have used the services of John Weir many times in my capacity as a professional executor and have found the staff to be amazing every time. Amanda assisted me with the funeral arrangements of Jean Hayfield and was very helpful, kept me updated throughout the process and went above and beyond. would recommend to anyone asking and often do.

Amanda at Jon Weir was extremely helpful and supportive at all times in all aspects of the arrangements of our mother's funeral service and the Jon Weir team were superb on the day of the service too.
We have sadly had to use Jon Weir a number of times and they have been amazing.

Absolutely amazing from the first time that we met Ben at the office of John Weir right through to the funeral day itself, Shane the conductor  and the pall bearers were brilliant  we couldn’t ask for more, as you can imagine totally respectful of my father and us the family, Amanda from John Weir rang the day before to make sure every little  detail was correct and the day of the funeral ran like clockwork, having  never done this before we knew nothing of the protocol and literally everything is explained to you and sorted, nothing is too much trouble, I would and will recommend John Weir Funeral Directors to anyone in the future, all you can ask is that your loved ones both in death and living are looked after and in our experience this is exactly what we got

Ben who looked after me while planning my dad's funeral was simply amazing, he explained everything and was a caring soul just like all of the people there. In what was a tough part of my life for my family all the people at John Weir made it somewhat easier and was just the epitome of a great bunch of caring people. What can I say they were wonderful they became almost like family with calls to see how I was after loosing my mum keeping me up to date when mum was in their care and going through the order of service they arranged everything took that worry away from me and mums last journey was beautiful her coffin the car the flowers and the respectful pull bearers in all I was proud I chose them and mum would've been too thank you all so very much .

Not only did they guide us through the process of arranging a funeral with kindness and compassion. They  took the additional steps to make sure to always check on our own well-being. Nothing was too much for them.
