Claire was very kind and helpful which made the whole process much easier. The whole team were perfectly turned out and the flowers were lovely. Everyone appreciated the little memento brooches and flower seeds.

I was recommended the Coop by one of my sister’s friends that they do a cremation only service which was what we were looking for.
I found my local Birchington parlour incredibly sympathetic and professional in dealing with my late sister’s funeral making it a stress free process for me. I would wholeheartedly recommended them to anyone looking to book a funeral for their loved ones.

Service and care very good. My rating would have been "excellent" if there had been more continuity in staff contact; as it was I dealt with three individuals, although credit to them they were all very good, helpful and caring.
I believe the Birchington office undergoing a change in staff allocation at this time among their other regional offices.

Exceptional service from staff at BIRCHINGTON Office. From start to completion, their advice  from planning, choice of services, liaison with Church/authorities, printing order of service etc was given freely and spot on. It made a difficult task much much easier and they are to be commended for their attention to detail and care. Thank you.

From the time we first made contact with Birchington Funeralcare, we have always received excellent service.

Vanessa conducted our initial appointment with care and compassion and made us feel relaxed and at ease. Everything was explained and our options discussed.  Vanessa had to hand the details we had discussed in our earlier phone conversation with her colleague Kelly, which saved repeating information.

The arrangements on the day were excellently carried out by Louise and her team, with everything in place as requested.  Louise also made a call prior to the day to confirm details.

We were particularly touched by the route taken to the crematorium, as they took Mum by the seafront roads, which she would have loved.

Our celebrant, Christopher Dell, had been suggested to us by Vanessa and we cannot praise him highly enough.  All those at the service commented on his professionalism and the service he conducted was full of love, humour and respect.

Following the service, Louise ensured that everything had been carried out according to our wishes and checked if we needed any further help before she left. She even took the time to make me a posy of flowers from our coffin spray, which was a kind gesture and will always be a fond memory.

We would also like to pass on our thanks to John whom I have spoken to on several occasions in the Birchington office, who has always been kind and helpful.

Review would have been excellent but due to circumstances I have rated very good instead I do so wish it could have been so different at such a sad sad time as you only get one chance
