The Birchington Funeral care team made a sadly joint funeral of my beloved mother and grandfather possible. It was a beautiful service and all the organising beforehand was ever so helpful & considerate. My aunt and I cannot thank you enough.

Staff in the office were lovely and helpful. The service went well and was a perfect send off for our mum.
Prior to yhe funeral were disappointed with the time scale for our mum to be brought back to Birchington, which was on a Friday then we found out that Birchington office and the Chapel of rest was closed over ther weekend, which only left Monday to visit her before the funeral. We did not know we should have booked a visit prior to the weekend. Also very difficult to get someone at the birchington office on the phone, without having to leave a message with someone in Manchester.

The arrangements were made in a dignified and thorough manner from the first contact with The Funeral Director through to and including the actual day of the cremation.
Careful attention was given to all requests and support was given when needed. The Celebrant conducted the actual funeral service in the manner requested by the family and was very caring.
Thank you so much to everyone that was involved.

though the staff were friendly and helpful they are very understaffed and you feel rushed when dealing with them , the call center you get put through to if phones are on divert are awful no compassion and question they asked we had to relay again as information was taken wrongly which was very distressing

My family and I can't thank you enough for helping us through the process of syaing goodbye to Steve, our beloved husband/father. You have shown such compassion in every single way.We have felt as if we have become part of the family and nothing is too much trouble. He was a very special man and he received such care while he was in your hands.

The care and attention given to my family and my late father by the Coop both at Birchington and Crawley  was exemplary. The staff know exactly what to say and Mark at Crawley was incredibly good at his job. Can’t recommend them highly enough

Before during and after my mums funeral we received care and professionalism from all the staff we came in contact with . 
They all made a difficult occasion run smoothly. They also have great contacts with other local services such as florist and celebrants .

At a time when it is difficult to make decisions on anything, Sarah was incredibly helpful and made everything easy for us from start to finish. Drayson really helped everything go smoothly on the day and the celebrant was great. A wonderful service all round, thank you.

I simply cannot recommend all the team behind the services. From the lead-in through to the end.
Carly and Sarah were simply amazing and went above and beyond during the arrangement and lead-up to the service.
Carly, on a personal level, we wish you the very best of luck in your new position. The Gravesend branch's gain is DEFINITELY a loss for Birchington.
Steve and his team of pall-bearers and drivers couldn't have done more for us on the day. They were so kind and 100% attentive and helpful.
Chris, the celebrant, guided everyone through the service smoothly and compassionately. He too did an amazing job and even made the congregation from abroad feel included.
The chosen music, video link and the photos running on a loop ran perfectly too, thanks to the excellent work of the media team from Wesley Media.
Thank you everyone for following my uncle's and our wishes so perfectly. ❤️
You all helped make a terrible occasion into a nice one.
I genuinely would highly recommend them!

The care, kindness and support that I received from Sarah and Carly at Birchington Funeralcare as they guided me through the arrangements for my mum’s funeral could not have been better.  I was given advice and options on things that I wouldn't have even thought of, with so much work and responsibility taken off my shoulders at a time when I needed it most.  From my first appointment with Sarah, to the day of the service, I knew that I was in safe, compassionate hands and I feel incredibly grateful that I found such an experienced and caring funeral directors.
