Jane was brilliant when we had to deal with mums funeral. 
She was caring and very thoughtful. 
Asking things like what was mum’s favourite colour, which was green and all the bearers wore  green ties .

The funeral itself was handled immaculately. Paul Newman was very helpful, helping to arrange a celebrant for the service and both explaining and advising on the service itself.

My only slight concern was the difficulty in getting through to the local office initially to discuss the funeral. I appreciate that it is a small office and it will not always be possible to cover the phone, but perhaps the option to leave a message would be useful, rather than the calls being redirected to the head office in Manchester, who were unable to do more than offer to pass on a message.

Annoyed that we were not informed of a clergy increase when we paid in full for the funeral. They would have given you more then 4 weeks notice of an increase that would start at the beginning of January 2023.  So we should not have received an invoice for the extra £22. This was your oversight and you should have absorbed it not us.   

The music went on far to long for one of the hymns.

I chose Co-op Funeral Care after hearing how professional they were and I was not disappointed. From the moment I met Andy he put me at ease and listened to the wishes of the family.
