Its hard to put into words how amazing George was at arranging my late fathers funeral. From initial contact to the collection of the ashes the service has been 100% professional. She helped make the whole process a lot less worrying than I thought it would be. What made it so much easier though was the personal touch that George gives. Its like talking to someone you have known for years and with the stress of losing my Dad I couldnt have asked for anymore. I was able to make the service into a proper tribute to him because of the understanding she gave me on the initial consultation and the constant updates she gave me during the process. Id like to give a special mention to Bob the Celebrant who led the Order of Service and Becky who was the Funeral Director on the day. All of them a credit to their professions.

I can not thank George enough. She made arranging my dad’s funeral easy and took the stress out of it. She also helped with my anxiety with “family issues”..
George was also so lovely to talk to and I got a lot of comfort out of our conversations regarding spirits and the after life..
George really is a credit to your company and I will miss seeing her smiley happy face

Excellent service from George who was very amiable, explained everything clearly. Issues or problems I faced were resolved immediately and all telephone messages /emails she responded quickly and I was thankful that if George was busy with an appointment, I wasn’t transferred to a call centre as was the case last year with my Dad which I found to be very impersonal and a deflating experience.
I found it frustrating that there were no colour swatches available in the branch (the guide in the brochure does not give a true colour indication as I found out last year) for the willow caskets which George and I searched frantically on Google to try and source the actual colour I was interested in. She was very patient and never rushed me on time at all. 
Becky and her funeral director team were outstanding and very smartly dressed. Becky instantly made me feel confident it would all run smoothly and she even made me up a small posy of flowers from my Mothers spray to take away which was so thoughtful! Paul Kelly-Moore was a delight to work with as he was the year before for my Fathers Funeral. I was extremely grateful for the quality of service I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Co-op in the future.

We were treated with great respect and sensitivity during a difficult time by everyone we had contact with. Lisa( Hatfield Road , St Albans) always responded promptly to any queries we had and ensured that everything was as we wished it to be. The arrangements for the cremation were made as stress free as possible for us and we felt reassured that everything would go as planned on the day.. We felt that we were cared for.
We would definitely recommend your service.
