I couldn’t have hoped for a better service. J. Worley exceeded  my expectations, making a difficult time a little less stressful.

My mum had stipulated in her will that she wanted her funeral to be entrusted to J Worley: they have a good local reputation and, indeed, were the company she chose to manage my dad's funeral more than 30 years before!
At all stages they were helpful and empathetic, and their attention to detail on the day made a difficult process much easier and less stressful than I had been expecting.

At a difficult time, once appointed, Worley’s  took all the worry of organising our mums funeral from our shoulders, leaving us to come to grips with her loss. In all areas, office, collection, drivers and bearers, they could not have been more respectful, professional and dignified while putting us at our ease through the whole process. My grateful thanks to John and Mark Worley and all the staff for the way in which they handled my husbands funeral on the 6th July 2021. It all went very smoothly on the day and Mark was very courteous in the way he guided us. The florist they recommended, Amanda Jane and the printers of the Order of Service, Adriana of OH9 both provided an excellent and compassionate service .

Kind, empathetic and very, very respectful to my Father’s body and to us as his relatives at every stage of the process. Cannot recommend them highly enough and have seen this consistently across several other funerals where J. Worley’s have been present, which was why we came back to them for my Father. They’ve provided wonderful services at a very difficult time.

As much as they were helpful and kind. I was stressed about payments as was advised payment was needed upfront even though I was going through Dwp was advised invoice would be sent in couple of days when in fact it was not sent till after funeral. Was also advised funeral date which I notified everybody to be told an hour later it was changed. Was advised my dad could have own clothes and would need enbalment but then changed at last minute cause of autopsy even was advised dad had one. I had unesserorie stress for nothing

Professional, supportive, informative, helpful with anything and everything connected to your bereavement either through what they can do, or what they can arrange with 3rd parties, or with direction in what you need to do and how. No 'pressure sales' tactics or trying to take advantage at your time of weakness, just honest and appropriate advice and service.
