All the staff, Catherine, Carol and Russell were kind, respectful and took behaviour cues from my demeanor. So I never felt patronised. There were smiles, condolences, warm words and practical help. I felt I could talk or maybe ramble , without feeling rushed or that they had heard all this sorrow before. Thank you for that. I messed up with a couple of things, but Catherine the comsumate professional dealt with it quietly and quickly. Russell was kindness itself on the day...Dad was so very well cared for and his words of comfort much appreciated.
Thank you all for the ease and efficency.

The service provided by Co-Op Funeralcare was exemplary and faultless, from the initial contact over the phone on the day that my mother died, through the arrangements made for the funeral at their offices, to the day of the funeral itself, and even with their follow-up call on the day after the funeral, to check that everything had gone according to plan. All the Co-Op staff involved in the process were helpful, sympathetic, caring and professional throughout, which was greatly appreciated at what was a difficult time.

Carole who dealt with everything was very kind and patient with a challenging family and situation.
The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that on the Saturday afternoon before the funeral, (due to take place on the Monday) I was telephoned asking a couple of questions which I think should have been asked earlier on in the process, e.g. who was following the coffin into the chapel and did we want people seated before the coffin was brought in. Having said that the service was perfect on the day, and we were very pleased with how it worked. The celebrant, Paul, was amazing and struck just the right note. Several people said what a lovely service was.
