This was the third time that I had used Moore’s Traditional Funeral Directors, but it had been 16 years since my last contact, and I was a little hesitant as things tend to change ... over time. I needn’t have been the service was exactly as I had hoped for- Outstanding. They gave me great comfort at such a sad and challenging time. The Team led by Natalie, were compassionate, understanding, respectful and they genuinely did treat my Dad as if he was one of their loved ones. To the Team he was a ‘person’ with a name not just a body and they wanted to get to know who he was and who I was. They made all the arrangements seem effortless, despite my have some very particular requests- nothing was too much trouble. Natalie was amazing she was so caring and understanding, ‘she just got it’ - so natural- she knew what to say and what to do at the right moment for which I was truly grateful. Her determination that my Dad’s final journey was what both my Dad had wished for, and what I wanted was second to none. Having asked for Doves to be released at the graveside and then being unfortunately let down and the last minute didn’t stop Natalie trying to find another company as she knew how much it meant to me. She even helped with an alternative plan if there were no doves. Such was Natalie’s dedication and professionalism I arrived at the graveside not expecting to see doves to find that that morning she had found someone- That was such a special moment and for me shows what Moore’s Traditional Funeral Directors are about- personal, compassionate and dignified care. They were just lovely and will never know how much they helped me care for and celebrate my Dad on his final journey. more
