What an incredible service. Alison kept us updated by email and answered my endless questions with patience and compassion. David was kind and considerate and made a great cup of tea. 
Simon sussed us out from the minute we walked through the door. He clearly loves his job and as a result was able to recommend things that fitted perfectly with our wishes. 
Simon suggested our celebrant be Liza Barber. He felt she would fit with our personalities and he wasn’t wrong. She gave us her undivided attention and captured our dad beautifully. 
Huge thanks to you all for making Dads funeral the celebration we hoped it would be.

We chose Waters and Sons for my dad's funeral because they are independent funeral directors and are a family business. David, Simon and the team were very professional and sympathetic and were always there to give advice which was much appreciated. We found Waters & Sons to be such lovely caring people. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They went above & beyond to take care of Mum & the whole family. Simon was so considerate especially in our difficult circumstances. Could not have asked for a better send off for our Mum from a truly wonderful family run business . Many years ago when my parents wanted to take out a funeral plan I had no idea where to go. My nextdoor neighbour suggested Simon Waters as he was highly thought of in the funeral business for being a caring and understanding person. Nothing was too much trouble. I have not been disappointed when my mother passed away recently he dealt with everything in difficult circumstances. Suggesting little things that might help my distraught father. What I will forever remember is the dignity they showed my mother when in the early hours of the morning they collected her from the care home. I will always remember Craig walking in front of the hearse 3:45am on a cold November morning to the end of the road. Thank you to all the staff at Waters and Sons for getting me through a situation everyone dreads.

Waters and Sons made everything really straightforward for us. Marisa is such a lovely warm person, and very easy to talk to.  David was a very calming presence on the day when my sister and I were feeling a bit anxious.
They were very accommodating throughout and we were all so pleased with the lovely send off they arranged for my dad. We can’t thank them enough.

Waters & Sons helped my father and I through all the arrangements following my Mum's passing. Becky and Simon were brilliant, with compassionate advice and support throughout, a lovely Order of Service, and a day where we could celebrate Mum's life knowing that every detail was in hand. What was the saddest moment of my life with the passing of mother introduced me to the most remarkable people in the form of Waters and son funeral directors.
From the first telephone conversation to the crematorium l was kept fully informed and advised of procedures protocols and customs.
I always felt included and respected throughout.
This wonderful company introduced my family to a remarkable clergy who took the service.

They were always ready and waiting with a compassionate smile to get me through a traumatic time losing my beloved wife.
Not only were they caring towards me. The care and love they showed towards my wife was outstanding.
Even down to giving her a blanket as she always felt the cold.
They were truly helpful down to the last detail giving me recommendations for the service and the flowers.
