From the moment I walked through the door I knew I was in the right place. Owen instantly made me feel comfortable about having the difficult conversation initially and further conversations and interactions with Charlotte helped guide the family during the process.
On the day of the funeral, the wider family all commented on how complete the service was.
I would like to say that I look forward to using Rowlands again but maybe that’s not appropriate / not too soon…!

I would like to thank the team at Rowland's Funeral Services, Petersfield for their kindness and attention to detail. They guided me through the process of planning my mother's funeral and assisted to make it all run smoothly on the day.
I would also like to thank Martin Brown who conducted the service - he met with me prior to the service in order to get to know me and also to talk about mum and her life. He assisted me in choosing music and advised re order of service. On the day he led a personalised and warm celebration of my mother's life. Thank you to the whole team - you made a difficult time easier.

Rowlands made an extremely sad time that little more bearable. Very professional and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble. They guided us through everything that needed to be done. Owen in particular who led the funeral went above and beyond. We can't thank them enough

Charlotte was really superb to work with. Empathetic and utterly professional. She organised everything exactly as we requested and couldn't have done a better job. Her communication throughout was spot on. On the day of the funeral Charlotte are her team were again excellent.

Losing a loved one is a very difficult time, and having to plan their funeral can add to the emotional strain. 

However, Rowland’s made the whole ‘process’ extremely easy. 

Rowland’s are caring without being emotionally over the top. The are professional throughout.

They cared for my mother throughout. One particular moment struck out above all. I wanted to visit my mum before her funeral. Mum was laying in one of their chapels. The funeral director took me to the chapel, but before entering the chapel, the funeral director knocked on the door. How lovely and respectful.

I decided to use their room to hold the service, again this was faultless. Everything planned from service sheets, music, and flowers. 

Rowland’s have a small parking area which we used on the day of the service. As we approached by car, a member of staff was waiting for us at the gate. Again, what a lovely touch.

I have so much praise. If one can use the term ‘lovely’ for a funeral, then I am happy to say Rowland’s gave my mother a lovely and special day.
