Well what can I say.. Lydia and dave are just the best. They helped us with our dad from start to finish. I can honestly say the comfort and love and support they gave us is unbelievable. I definitely come away from my dad's special last day feeling proud and like I have known Lydia and Dave for ages not just because of a funeral they have done. The things they have done off there own back and ideas they gave us I cannot thank them enough. The cuddles I have had off Lydia, the texts every single day asking if I'm OK. The effort they made for us to see our dad every day of the week. I went in with Lydia and Dave for my dad's funeral and came out having a friend. No pressure with these people everything was at our step and our time. I will never forget what you have done for our dad and how you have looked after him and us. Even their son callum well what a lovely polite boy he is. Perfect funeral people. I could go on and on ,the photos they done even down to date spending time with my 3 children letting off each doves. You won't find better people then them. I love you Lydia and Dale. All what you have done I'm very grateful. Love Mima xxx

We put our mums funeral in the hands of Lydia and Dave and we were so happy that we did. Extremely professional but with the personal touch we needed. They went above and beyond what we paid for and we’re on hand with any questions or request we had. They went out of their way to contact us to check we were ok knowing we had lost our mum. I would recommend this company/family to anyone who has lost someone that was close as they really did make things easier and take the load of of us at the worst time of our lives.

Dave and Liddia are two very  caring people, they listen to you. They will give very good advice, they will find the best  funeral to serve your budget as best they can.
I have used their services not only to set up end of life plans for clients, but also when l lost my brother.
They were so supportive l cannot praise them enough.

David  and Lydia were compassionate, caring and patient, immediately understanding the deep grief being felt by myself and my daughters from the loss of my beloved wife Merle. Lydia showed great sensitivity at the initial meeting at our home to discuss arrangements. 

They called me most days to check how I was as well as to discuss the service details and progress, and were always happy to take my many calls. Nothing was too much trouble and they went many extra miles to ensure the service went as perfectly as possible. They even had the order of service reprinted as the first set were not quite right. David also arranged for our four grandchildren, so much loved by Merle, to release doves after the service. The celebrant they recommended was a perfect choice and the florist also did a great job. 

The large congregation of around a hundred all felt the service to Merle was a lovely and fitting tribute to a much loved beautiful lady. Everything on the day went smoothly. 

I cannot thank David and Lydia  enough for their care and support and would thoroughly recommend Staunton Funeral Services to anyone seeking a very supportive and personal service. 

Five stars all the way without doubt.

David and Lydia were amazing through this hard time for me and my family losing dad Hugh.
They made so much time for my mum, often visiting the home as mum is disabled and we were welcomed at any opportunity to pop in for a cup of tea and a chat whether about funeral details or just to talk about our feelings. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they were professional, but caring and truly wanted to help people through a difficult time, I cannot thank them enough and know if I am in the area and pop in they would only be too happy to see me.

David and Lydia were absolutely amazing when I lost my dad Jim, they were a tower of strength, professional and I felt that they genuinely cared about me and my well-being.

Staunton are understanding friendly professional helpful. With my mum they gave her the day she would of loved and gave are family full support from stat to finish and arfer and they had prices to cater for all. And we would recommend them to all. Lydia and Dave. do give 100% as they care. And looked after my mum thank you from my family and I ........also 1 year on from a family members who died befor we found staunton and they did a year later scattering of ashes and we had a better experience with staunton funeral

A fabulous caring, considerate and friendly service.  Very reasonably priced too.  Nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Lydia.  I really can’t recommend them highly enough.  They will look after you in every way possible.  For us as a family they made a difficult time just that much easier.  They truly were made for their vocation and were so respectful of our late Mum.

Lydia and Dave were there for us every step of the way when it came to organising my dad’s funeral. It was something that I had no previous experience of, but they had suggestions for every last detail and I felt that I was the one in control of making the final decision on everything. The day itself went extremely smoothly and we were very satisfied with my dad’s send off. We have already recommended them to others, and will not hesitate to use them again ourselves when the time comes.
