From start to finish the guys at fareham funeral care made what is a truly heartbreaking and tough experience go as smoothly and easy as possible.

My husband Cyril and I had decided some time ago that we would have a direct funeral.  I really thought it would have very little involvement from the funeral directors - but how wrong I was with regard to Fareham Funeralcare.  From the start we only met very caring people and the trouble
Tony Course took with the planning, and in keeping in touch during the process, was quite amazing.  It made a very sad time easier for the family, knowing that Cyril was being taken care of in a very respectful way.  Thank you very much Fareham Funeralcare.

I cannot be more complimentary at the service I received from Tony Coates during this difficult time I had to endure on the passing of my mother . Tony showed excellent patience and empathy every step of the way and made sure I understood everything before final preparations were made . This was a particularly unusual set of circumstances whereby my mother was being transferred back to her home town in the north of England. This did not phase Tony in the least and he made sure by liaising on a regular basis with the northern branch that everything was in order before the funeral date . I would thoroughly recommend the coop funeral care to anyone in the future and should they need someone local from the Fareham area then I would definitely give them Tony’s name

I don’t know where to begin these guys went above and beyond Tony was so lovely kind caring and nothing was to much of a problem he felt with every request some be it strange. We also had Lona who felt with everything on the day of the funeral and again she went above and beyond they both made a sad and unbearable situation and turn it into stress free day I can not thank these guys for what they have done for us

I would like to thank Ryan the Funeral Director for his help from start to finish. He was my only point of contact in relation to my fathers funeral and he handled it smoothly and with compassion and understanding. He is clearly the best Funeral Director at the Coop and should be commended for his hard work and dedication.

From start to finish our allocated funeral director made a very difficult time more distressing and difficult to deal with. On first meeting with my mother, brother and I, he highlighted to us that he was “new to the job.” We have no issue with this, however do expect the funeral director to be competent in what he does. During this meeting, the funeral director forgot my deceased father’s name and even questioned on one occasion if my father was actually still at the on-site mortuary. My father had a paid funeral plan with Sun Life which the funeral director also provided incorrect information regarding whose responsibility this was to follow through with certain aspects.
My brother has been placed under immense and unnecessary stress by countless phone calls requesting payments and settlement of the final bill, when it is clear that Sun Life will be releasing the funds. 
My mother is obviously highly distressed given the loss of her husband, however having to navigate through this difficult time has been amplified by such incompetence. 
We were then informed just days before the funeral that we could not have the coffin which we had chosen and only then was my mother asked if anything was to be engraved on the gold plate (surely this should have been agreed much sooner).
Due to the inconsistencies and clear lack of knowledge displayed by the funeral director we as a family were left doubting whether or not the funeral for my father would go ahead as requested and agreed as we had little confidence in the funeral director’s ability to follow through on the agreed arrangements.

Everyone one at Funeralcare was great, dealt compassionately and efficiently with both funerals. My dad's went really well, and mum's (totally unexpected event) was handled with similar professionalism.
