I would like to say what a fantastic service that the Co Op Funeral Service in Sale, Manchester gave myself and my family. Julie and her colleagues were lovely.

From start to finish they did their very best to give my Uncle the send off he truly deserved. Trying to find certain music that he wanted, to make it perfect was a lovely experience.

Communication was brilliant and kept me informed of everything that was being done.

Would totally recommend this company and branch.

Julie and her colleague were so approachable and compassionate during such a difficult time.

I am daughter to Sheila who doesn't have email but I know her views were the same.

It's not a day anyone wants to face but Julie and her colleague made the day special, for my dad a very special man and thank you so much.

I was extremely pleased with all the valuable help and advice I received for this sad occasion. It was all done professionally from the transport of my late wife to the Chapel of Rest to the burial. I was helped to get my choice of the church for the service and my choice of cemetery. The recommendation of the Belmore Hotel for the reception was perfect. Everything went smoothly and everybody present told me, although a sad occasion, it was a wonderful service and an enjoyable reception. I'm certain this would not have been possible without your help and guidance. So, I give you my heartfelt thanks.

I cannot praise the funeral care team at Sale enough for their attentive and when needed compassionate manner, professionalism, assistance and care throughout.  They even went the extra mile to source a Union Jack  linen flag to use as a coffin drape for a much loved father. Thank you so much - you helped make this period of my life so much easier to manage.

It is with a heavy heart that I can only leave a review of three stars: average. My rationale for only average is that initially the service was excellent; they attended the property on request promptly and were polite and professional and felt that my recently deceased father was good hands. I received an email promptly and replied two days later with all the relevant paperwork completed and received an acknowledgment. It was ten days later when I received a phone call from Co-op stating they were still waiting for the paperwork. I explained that I had already sent them. I was extremely disappointed in having to send the same paper in twice which also resulted in a delay of ten days for my father to be cremated. Please do not underestimated the additional stress and pain this has caused my me and my family, knowing that my father had been waiting for an additional ten days in a chapel of rest and delaying our process of grieving and moving on. Additional pain was caused by receiving two phone calls on the same day telling me when his cremation had been arranged: clearly cross wires and poor administration processes.
