With the co.op they go above and beyond to make you feel at ease such lovely caring staff and always make sure that your going at your own pace they take the time to ask if your ok and the care they gave my Dad while he was in there care was also very lovely the service they provided is outstanding. This was the first time myself planning a funeral but with the help of Karen and all the staff at co op it turned out to be a lovely little service for my dad he got custom coffin and order of services which was beyond expectations thank you all at the co.op

The funeral directors were very professional. They respected our wishes and were carried out perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble and kept us informed as we went along.

With the iminent passing away of my mother the Co-op was notified that the care home would be in touch with the Chadderton funeral office. This particular office was chosen because of the excellent service received earlier in the year with the funeral of my husband. On the death of my mother the carehome contacted the Co-op which collected my mothers body. Unfortunately I was not onformed that the Chadderton office has closed and I did not know where my mother was until the following week. Then there was a problem with a pacemaker removal and the subsequent paperwork. It was over six weeks before my mothers cremation could take place. There was very little communication between the Oldham office and myself and it was me who had to chase things up. Not knowing what was happening was quite traumatic. Bill and Karen at Chadderton had kept in touch almost daily which was supportive and very reassuring with my husbands funeral. The experience with my mother has left me with very negative thoughts as to the care given and the attitude to the bereaved and I would not recommend this srevic e to anybody in the future.
