As always, Co-op Funeralcare provided a top class service when arranging my brother's funeral in December. The funeral was managed from the Silver Street premises, and all of the staff I dealt with were very professional, courteous and provided everything they said they would, when they said they would. A lady called Rhian in particular did a great job, and Independent Celebrant Dave Whaley was suggested as a suitable person to ensure the day went smoothly and Rhian was spot on, he was excellent too. Thanks to everyone.

Bury Coop have provided an excellent service.   Their help and advise is excellent when booking the funeral.  Joanna was excellent on the day and is very kind and thoughtful.

The coop funeral care in Bury helped us with my dads funeral. From start to finish the care, respect and general loveliness of the the team came across and put us all at ease. We felt really looked after, every phone call or conversation started by asking how we all are. Nothing was too much trouble, they took the time to understand all our needs (and we had a lot!) and really helped give my dad the best send off we could have given. Everything was perfect, from working out the tricky road where we got picked up, to helping arrange the most beautiful coffin exactly how we wanted it, with my dads special football tops and scarfs on to the aftercare and helping us pick some tribute jewellery. I would definitely recommend the coop funeral care in bury. Especially thank you to Rihan, what a lovely and professional lady, we can’t thank you enough for all your support on the day and throughout. We would also like to say thank you to Stacey who helped with our many calls and requests too, such a professional and helpful service.

I would have given the service 5 stars without hesitation but there was 1 problem. Everyone was so kind and considerate and they thought of everything. The whole procedure was first class.
However, when I went to select a keepsake and pay the outstanding balance, I was told that they had forgotten to keep some locks of Mum's hair as promised. The member of staff did say sorry at the time but , since Mum had been cremated by then, there was no way of getting it. Two members of our family were very upset about this.

Sorry for the delay in sending a review but we have had a difficult few weeks since the funeral, Peggy's husband Ken has been in hospital again.  He is now recovering.

I would like to thank Nicola, Stacey and Rhian for their great service and dealing with the delay in actually organising the funeral because of Ken.  The day went very smoothly and special thanks to Rhian for giving me Peggy's rings and the flower spray from the coffin.  I would also like to mention that the bamboo coffin was wonderful just perfect for Peggy very feminine.  Thank you very much Christine, Eric and Linda

My experience with cooperative funerals was made as pleasant and well prepared as it can be, the staff there are fabulous, making my family and I feel very comfortable knowing that my mum was being very well  taken care off
They were in constant touch asking how we all were doing and keeping us up to date with things
I would highly recommend them to anyone

I cannot fault Bury Funeral care from start to finish, every member of the staff was so helpful, guiding through the whole process with compassion and understanding, there was always someone there to answer any queries the family had, the passing of my Dad has been so painful.

A special thank you to Rhian, for her professionalism and compassion she shown to me, guiding me through the funeral and the way she walked in front of the horses will stay in my memory forever, again many thanks xx

The service we received from the staff at Bury was outstanding. They had care, compassion and understanding at heart at a very difficult time and made our mothers funeral go without undue stress. I would be recommending the co-op in future to friends and family. Our full gratitude to all.

The care and attention given by Bury Funeral Care was excellent. Linda, who largely managed the whole thing, was indeed a true professional. She was interested in us as a family as well as making sure that all went well with the arrangements. No detail was missed! She regularly 'checked in' to make sure all was well and if we needed to know anything further.
