Everything went as planned , the funeral was respectful and dignified. My only grievance was that I had an appointment at 1430 to arrange the funeral but was not seen until 1445, should not happen at such a sad time.

All of the staff, especially Sheila, have been absolutely amazing since day 1. They have supported me so much, and helped everytime I had any questions at all. At such a difficult point in my life where I felt so lost, I can’t actually thank them enough for taking such a huge weight of my shoulders and making everything seem so much easier. ♥️

From the very start everything was very easy and straight forward, each person you spoke to have genuine compassion and cared. Not a single part of planning the funeral was stressful as I was supported and advised throughout. I was to say a huge thank you to all at Farnworth Funeral Home as loosing a loved one is always the hardest thing however with people like you there to help and genuinely care it makes the process a whole lot easier to get through

I was given an appointment and told how important it was I was on time, so I would not infringe on the next bereaved appointment time. However, I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment. I was told the previous appointment was very upset and went over time. A few weeks later I called to see how things were going as my wife had still not been cremated. I was later informed that nothing had been done because I had not signed all the paperwork. I seemed to get the impression it was my fault that not everything had been signed. Although it was no fault of mine, as I signed everything they asked me to sign previously. Again, a few weeks went by and still not contact from them and my wife had still not been cremated. I called and was told they would call back later, which they never did. After just over 5 weeks I called and told them I wanted my wife and money back from them and I would go elsewhere. Then I finally got a date for cremation. They had my wife from the 12/12/21 and she was cremated 28/1/22. The CO-OP service stinks. Stay away from them at all cost.

Excellent customer care by all staff I spoke with, nothing too much trouble and lots of patience given. All in all the day went as planned without a hitch. This was the second time I’ve used the Co-Op and the same excellent standards are still there, Thankyou to all.

Farnworth funeral service's were very helpful when dealing with our late mums funeral recently. They kept us up to date with things, organised the flowers, cars and webcam for us and kept to time with our pick up arrangements. They were very curtious and considerate, nothing was to much troulble. Would recommend them

Would not recommend the Coop funeral . My sister was left in the hospital mortuary for over three weeks before they made time to collect her.
When being sold the funeral you are led to believe care is transferred straight away not over three weeks later which only leaves you one day to visit. Too many funeral's being taken in. Also not enough staff to take coffin out of limousine on day of funeral. We've always used the Coop however never again will we.

When my mum passed away the funeral home was always keeping me up to date with what was happening and when i could go and see my mum. Phoned me after the funeral to see if i was ok and if i needed anything to phone them. I couldnt thank them enough they are absolutely amazing.

Following the death of our dad, with a funeral plan already in place, Sheila was very professional and had a lovely caring manner. She was extremely calm, compassionate and supportive throughout our appointment and whenever we needed to speak to her by phone. She took us through each step of the plan to ensure that we we understood and were with the contents. In addition to the plan we were asked what kind of service we would like and Sheila put us in touch with the humanist celebrant, Sue. Sue was extremely re-assuring and did our dad proud.

Sheila and Sharon made us feel comfortable and always checked that we were happy with the Order of Service and the service itself. I can only say how professional the team were, from the procession, guided by Rehanna to the pall bearers and all involved.

We can't thank them enough. I certainly would recommend the Co-op Funeral care.
