I would like to thank the staff at Deighan's Funeral Parlour for their help and support to me when arranging my mother's funeral recently. Nothing was too much trouble and I was kept informed every step of the way of what was happening during the arrangements.

Deighans funeral parlour did my dad Ernie very proud. From the very beginning to the end. Both Shirley and Ian were fantastic. From helping with the reading to the music choice they both were there,even Ken helped out. I found that everybody seemed like family. 10/10.

Established in 1998, Deighan’s Funeral Parlour in Horwich provides a personal and dignified funeral service. It is proud to be a part of the Bolton community and support local people to arrange the funeral that’s right and fitting.

Shirley Deighan and her small, friendly team have a genuine desire to give your loved one the special send off they deserve. Whether it is a traditional burial or cremation service, or a celebration of life ceremony with thoughtful touches, Deighan’s Funeral Parlour is able to cater to your needs. Additionally, the team is able to arrange veterans funerals, and religious funerals including Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim and Sikh funerals.

With recently refurbished premises, this funeral directors in Horwich covers all areas of Bolton, and is able to offer a number of additional services to complement your loved one’s funeral.     I can’t praise Deighans enough Ian and Shirley looked after my mum and me with the out most of love and care, nothing  was to much trouble.  I would not hesitate on recommending them to anyone.

    Our contact has been very long distance but it hasn't felt like that. Being in New Zealand has only meant a short delay in replying to emails or late night telephone calls. Ian has been very good to deal with, giving clear communication, a respectful service and prepared to do what he can to fit in with our wishes. I can't thank him enough, because he has made a difficult time for my dear friends a lot easier.

    I'm sure mum will be thanking you in person however on behalf of the whole family we'd like to thank you for everything you did for us as a family and for Dad. He was looked after as were we. The funeral process was difficult and emotional to do but Ian organised everything we asked for and with brilliant communication. Would highly recommended should anyone be unfortunate to lose a loved one as we did. Xxx

    Deighan’s provided an excellent service in arranging our mum’s funeral. Nothing was too much trouble. Ian was always very courteous and accommodating to our wishes, and very accessible by phone or in person. Thank you for everything you did for us.

    Cannot fault the service we received from Dieghans funerals
    Made a very difficult time easier.
    The service itself was so personal thanks to Ian, who spent time listening to my brother, sister and myself regaling stories about my mum
    I will definitely recommend Dieghans funeral services

    Ian and his team were truly amazing. They were so professional and helped my mum through this very sad time. The personal touches they provided were outstanding. I would highly recommend this family business as opposed to a larger more impersonal one. Thank you so much Ian for taking the time and effort in all that you and continue to do for us xx

    We are so glad we chose Deighans to provide the funeral services for mum. We wanted something a little different for her and from the moment we were welcomed into the parlour by Ian and Shirley, we just knew that they were the ones that could provide this for us. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team came up with some great  ways for fulfilling our ideas. It seems a bit corny to say that they went the extra mile but they really did. We also like to support independent companies. Many people opt for a funeral director that the family have used in the past but if you are looking at reviews you are probably open to change and all we can say is, pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed in the service that is provided.
