From the moment I walked in the doors of the coop funeral care doors I felt at ease, welcomed and that my mother would be treated as well here as she would have at home. The staff understood the importance of what family ment, nothing was too much and no question was irrelevant. Me and my family felt listened to and supported through the whole process of picking caskets to choosing the orders of service, right down to incorporating my mother's favourite colour yellow into her service, painted my mother's nails in her favourite colour and the staff all wearing yellow on the day of funeral. My mother couldn't have picked a better team or company to give her the send off she deserved. Can't thank all the staff enough for there support and encouragement throughout.

I decided to use your services for my aunt's funeral as the service we received last year from your arranger in Inverkeithing was excellent. Sadly this was not the case with your Blantyre office and based on this experience, I would not use you again nor would I recommend you to anyone else. The fact that this office is manned by "mobile" staff is detrimental to the service. We dealt with 4 different people, each asking us the same questions. There was no continuity of care and at a time when you are dealing with the death of a loved one, this is just not acceptable.
No one told us when my aunt was in your care - Inverkeithing did
There was no message on the flowers, as we were not asked to supply this - Inverkeithing did
It took numerous emails to attempt to get the order of service right.
I was asked several times about the arrangement for cars.
These basic details (which were discussed with your arranger, Sharon on our initial visit) should be noted and passed on if someone else is dealing with it.
My sister has already registered a complaint and had a reply from Charlotte in Client Relations and an offer of a derisory £100 off. In her reply she explained that Sharon was off due to a "family emergency". Sharon told us she had the week off and would be cleaning her house!
To summarise, the service you offered in the preparation of the funeral was poor. Aidan, on the day, was helpful and pleasant.

Co op funeral care Blantyre, went above and beyond to organise, co ordinate and carry out the funeral. We were made to feel as if we were the only funeral they had to deal with and communication was always clear, understanding and friendly. The funeral was very dignified and we were satisfied with the service provided.

From start to finish, the service delivered was excellent. Done with care, compassion and kindness. Ensuring that our beloved Aunt was treated with dignity and respect even in death. Julie, Ross and the other staff on the day of the funeral were above and beyond. They made what was a difficult day go smoothly and treated each of the family as thought they had known us and our Aunt for a long time. They treated us with kindness and their compassion knows no limits.

Thank you for everything you done for us in this time of unimaginable sorrow.
