From the very first point of contact, Liam, Irene and all the team at Mitchells were a wonderful help at such a difficult time. They are on hand all the time to answer questions and provide advice for you and they really can’t do enough to help you. The level of customer care and compassion provided is second to none. I had to plan my Dads funeral in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic and at very short notice which made a difficult time even harder due to lockdown etc but the support provided by Mitchells was fantastic, you are always kept up to date with what they know and they give you the best advice they can, you can tell that they really value their profession. Liam managed to source me flowers the day before the funeral as all of the florists had closed and also sourced us a piper at short notice too which was exceptional as it gave us less to plan and worry about. Thank you to all at Mitchells for your help and support.

Mitchell’s funeral directors organised my grandfathers funeral, they helped with every aspect and couldn’t do enough for my family. I would highly recommend Mitchell’s and would definitely use them again if necessary in the future.

Compassion, care and dignity for our mum was shown at all times from Liams kindness in the organising to Donna’s final farewell . Having just used Mitchell’s funeral directors to lay my mum to rest I would like to thank them for their compassion and understanding, there professionalism and personal touches made what was an extremely sad situation bearable for all of my family and I’d like to say a personal thank you to Liam who visited my home prior to the funeral and to Donna who took the service she made us laugh, cry and have a wonderful memories so thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart

Genuine people who delivered the very bespoke service I wanted for my son Arrans funeral. They were open and honest with no hidden costs. Very trustworthy and genuine people.

After scrawling the internet for a funeral director for my fathers funeral, I came across Mitchells Funeral Directors, and was immediately taken by their pricing. After searching for reviews, and after speaking with Irene online, my sister and I decided to put our trust in them, and it is a decision we have never regretted. As they are a family firm, and only have one parlour in Glasgow, they are happy to visit the homes of the bereaved family, which immediately puts you more at ease. Their classic package covered everything that we needed, and a few more items, and Liam's attention to detail and compassionate nature made a very difficult meeting a relaxed and friendly affair. No details were left to chance, with Liam only ever a text or an email away, and both he and Donna, the celebrant, passed everything through us for approval beforehand. The day itself was perfect, and dad would have been very satisfied and proud. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone l ... ooking for a family firm, at an excellent price, with no detail too much. more

What a lovely family run business. They keep you updated on each step and what happens next.They answer every question you may have. I felt like I was treated with respect and dignity through the whole process. Even on the day of the funeral I felt like they looked after me and my family's needs and that my mum was given the send off she deserved. The celebrant they use for service was great very attentive to every detail and was available to contact easily if changes needed made. I have used different funeral directors in the past and I will now always use Mitchell's if I need to again. Excellent in all areas

Yes they were brilliant came in time really did a good service as well even went in front of the car when they were coming in the street as well yes from start to finnish they were brilliant as well will be using them again when the time comes again

Irene and Liam were so kind and thoughtful throughout the whole  difficult process of organising Dad’s funeral. Their recommendations of celebrant, florist and venue were spot on- they really listened and that meant we were able to say goodbye and celebrate Dad’s life the way he would have wanted us too.  Can’t thank them enough and happy to recommend them.
