I can't thank the Mitchell family enough for everything they done for myself and the kids liam kept in contact with me makin sure wee were ok went above and beyond his call of duty and Scott's day was perfect flowers were Amazing

After scrawling the internet for a funeral director for my fathers funeral, I came across Mitchells Funeral Directors, and was immediately taken by their pricing. After searching for reviews, and after speaking with Irene online, my sister and I decided to put our trust in them, and it is a decision we have never regretted. As they are a family firm, and only have one parlour in Glasgow, they are happy to visit the homes of the bereaved family, which immediately puts you more at ease. Their classic package covered everything that we needed, and a few more items, and Liam's attention to detail and compassionate nature made a very difficult meeting a relaxed and friendly affair. No details were left to chance, with Liam only ever a text or an email away, and both he and Donna, the celebrant, passed everything through us for approval beforehand. The day itself was perfect, and dad would have been very satisfied and proud. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking for a family firm, at an excellent price, with no detail too much.

What a lovely family run business. They keep you updated on each step and what happens next.They answer every question you may have. I felt like I was treated with respect and dignity through the whole process. Even on the day of the funeral I felt like they looked after me and my family's needs and that my mum was given the send off she deserved. The celebrant they use for service was great very attentive to every detail and was available to contact easily if changes needed made. I have used different funeral directors in the past and I will now always use Mitchell's if I need to again. Excellent in all areas

Yes they were brilliant came in time really did a good service as well even went in front of the car when they were coming in the street as well yes from start to finnish they were brilliant as well will be using them again when the time comes again

Irene and Liam were so kind and thoughtful throughout the whole  difficult process of organising Dad’s funeral. Their recommendations of celebrant, florist and venue were spot on- they really listened and that meant we were able to say goodbye and celebrate Dad’s life the way he would have wanted us too.  Can’t thank them enough and happy to recommend them.

I have had to arrange 3 funerals in the past few years. Mitchell's Funeral directors were recommended to me for the most recent one.
They were absolutely wonderful and in a different class to the funeral directors I had used before.
I have told everyone how brillant they were. The service they gave was very personal, professional and tailored exactly to my needs.
They were supportive and caring.
I feel they were almost like friends of the family.
They made this very difficult and stressful time much easier for me and my family.
The funeral itself was perfect and a wonderful tribute to my late brother.

have not had to deal with funeral directors before and was very nervous, especially as my husband's death was so sudden . I found both Liam and his mum not only professional but kind and empathic, lovely people. I liked them both straight away and I trusted them to look after my mum. When she was in their care they were kind enough to follow my wishes of not covering her face and keeping a light on. Their embalmer made my mum look like the mum I knew and at peace. They were able to help with finding a priest free to perform a Requiem mass and organised the crematorium. They guided me and facilitated  everything. We wanted it all done within the week and they made that happen. They made the whole experience from the moment I phoned them to the end, stress free. My brother and I are truly grateful for their kindness and human approach to a sad occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better service and would highly recommend Mitchells. Thank you. .

Outstanding, caring and compassionate service received by Mitchells Funeral Directors.  I can honestly say after having arranging funerals in the past, Mitchells far surpassed the others.
From my first initial call to Irene, her guidance and advice showed genuine caring and kindness. Liam was very thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble.  They made a very difficult time all the easier and I truly appreciated this.  I would have no hesitation in recommending them, simply the best.

Together they turned a tragic and heartbreaking event into a bearable event, and a celebration of a  life characterised by love, wit, humour and a sense of devilment.
