Unfortunately we had 2 funerals within a month of each other. As a family we can not thank Liam and everyone at Mitchells Funeral Directors enough for their compassion and commitment to ensuring both my dad and uncle had the best possible send off in these difficult times.

I cannot recommend Mitchells funeral Directors enough Liam was very professional walked in front of the   Cortège leading my husband David from his family home everyone was able to pay there respects to my husband that came out because of Covid-19 it was fitting to allow many people to say goodbye to my husband that could not go to the funeral because of restrictions on allowing 20 only . Liam went above and beyond to allow this to happen it was also nice to use a family run business than a commercial company more personal touch .

The help and attention I received following the loss of my mum from Liam and Irene was first class. Very helpful and made all the arrangements required stress-free.
On the day , the whole arrangement went smoothly and was handled with efficiency and dignity.
The total cost was very reasonable and the help and advice was priceless. I would recommend Mitchells to anyone in the same position without hesitation.

Irene, Liam and his team contacted me after hearing of the news that my uncle had died. The funeral plan had been compiled with my uncle and they were in receipt of his wishes.
Liam arranged a suitable time to meet with me in accordance with the restrictions at the time. Himself and a colleague came to my house to discuss the plans and service.
Due to my uncle living in England we had to coordinate a repatriation to Scotland which Liam took care of from start to finish, I was told that my uncle would be looked after at a parlour until his funeral done weeks later.
With all the information about: order of service, online service, online obituary, funeral car, flowers, songs, photographs, poem, celebrants, attendees and travel, a time and date was set.
Having never dealt with arranging a funeral I was dreading the formalities but Liam was amazing. Kind, compassionate, understanding and patient, nothing was too much of an ask or inconvenience. I would message or email ra ... ndom questions and either himself or Irene would respond promptly.
On the day of the funeral everything went smoothly and as nice as you could hope for. The professionalism and genuine care shown was very sincere.
Afterwards, I was reassured that everything was in order and we bid goodbye.

Thank you for the stress you and your family took off of me and my partner at such an unexpected tragic time for us. Ryan's horse an carriage cortege funeral was absoulety beautiful. I can't say enough nice things about Liam and Irene. They took such good care of me and the extended family when my husband recently died, and there was no request that was not fulfilled. I would thouraghly recommend them, and would definitely use their services again should the need arise.

Sheena got the send off she deserved. She is going to be missed by all and will always remain and have a special place in our hearts. You made this day so much easier, relaxed and perfect.....

The service Liam and co provide was seamless.
I knew my mum was in good hands. Liam gave me his personal number to contact him day/night with any questions. Liam gave us the lovely Donna the celebrants details too.

This is the 2nd funeral we have used Mitchell funeral directors for and they are second to none. Liam and his mum are amazing as well as the rest of their team. They go above and beyond and are really empathetic. Their care for our loved one was amazing and I know I will never use anyone else in the future. Mitchell funeral directors are by far the best around and their prices are amazing.

i cannot recommend mitchells highly enough.sadly i had a bereavement last year and went with a "bigger"funeral directors,well,the difference has been night and day.as a family run firm they just went that extra mile.i didnt have to worry about anything,liam came to the house and sorted it all out,a really lovely respectful young man.we gave our loved one a beautiful send off and liam and his family helped us to do that.do not waste you,re money going elsewhere,mitchells did absolutely EVERYTHING the other compny did at a fraction of the cost.a huge heartfelt thank you to you liam.
