I have had to arrange 3 funerals in the past few years. Mitchell's Funeral directors were recommended to me for the most recent one.
They were absolutely wonderful and in a different class to the funeral directors I had used before.
I have told everyone how brillant they were. The service they gave was very personal, professional and tailored exactly to my needs.
They were supportive and caring.
I feel they were almost like friends of the family.
They made this very difficult and stressful time much easier for me and my family.
The funeral itself was perfect and a wonderful tribute to my late brother.

have not had to deal with funeral directors before and was very nervous, especially as my husband's death was so sudden . Irene was my first contact and she was so lovely and understanding . when her son Liam came to see me he ta lked me through everything and helped me to plan the funeral .lovely people and could not recommend them enough …….thank you so much xxx

I found both Liam and his mum not only professional but kind and empathic, lovely people. I liked them both straight away and I trusted them to look after my mum. When she was in their care they were kind enough to follow my wishes of not covering her face and keeping a light on. Their embalmer made my mum look like the mum I knew and at peace. They were able to help with finding a priest free to perform a Requiem mass and organised the crematorium. They guided me and facilitated  everything. We wanted it all done within the week and they made that happen. They made the whole experience from the moment I phoned them to the end, stress free. My brother and I are truly grateful for their kindness and human approach to a sad occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better service and would highly recommend Mitchells. Thank you. .

Outstanding, caring and compassionate service received by Mitchells Funeral Directors.  I can honestly say after having arranging funerals in the past, Mitchells far surpassed the others.
From my first initial call to Irene, her guidance and advice showed genuine caring and kindness. Liam was very thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble.  They made a very difficult time all the easier and I truly appreciated this.  I would have no hesitation in recommending them, simply the best.

Together they turned a tragic and heartbreaking event into a bearable event, and a celebration of a  life characterised by love, wit, humour and a sense of devilment.




They presented themselves throughout as the Consummate professionals, whilst providing emotional and practical support to anyone whom required it.  For this the family is,and shall remain, eternally grateful.  Rarely do you receive such a service where the providers present themselves in a non judgemental, compassionate and empathetic fashion. We highly recommend Mitchell’s Funeral Directors after the service they provided for my dad’s farewell. They listened and respected our wishes which ultimately came from my dad before he passed. They were very considerate and very professional. They really do mean what they say in their brochure and they made the process a lot easier than we anticipated. From the very first phone call, we received a first class service.
Irene and Liam were both helpful and friendly and so considerate of our circumstances and explained everything fully to us. They took charge of the whole process but at the same time included us and communicated with us at every step. They met all our wishes for the funeral.
All costs were discussed at the start and there were no hidden surprises. The funeral costs were the cheapest  we had been quoted (around £2,000 cheaper!) and they offered the same package as other funeral directors.
Donna the humanist, created a lovely reading that captured our Dad perfectly. 
We cannot thank them all enough for arranging such a special funeral for our dear beloved dad.

My family decided to use Mitchell's Funeral Directors when my grandmother passed away. The service they provide is without fault, the attention to detail impeccable and the care shown to our family will never be forgotten. They made a very difficult and emotional time that bit easier. Nothing was too much to ask and they continued communication throughout the entire process. Their prices also deserve a mention, they are very transparent, every charge is explained and the price we received at our initial meeting did not change, no extra charges. Prices are extremely fair without sacrificing any levels of service. An exceptionaly well run, caring company who i would have no hesitation in recommending to others.
