Our experience at springburn funeral care was a comforting event although an extremely difficult time. Laura was extremely supportive and helped us with all our questions. On the day of my mothers/grandmothers funeral she was there with the rest of the staff and had the upmost respect. Can’t thank her enough she made a a sad situation more bearable.  Peter & Charlene

Extremely pleased with co-op funeral directors. All was organised without a fuss and everything was done to perfection on the day. Very professional and all done with ease and everyone was easy to deal with. I didn't have to worry about anything, as all was under control at every turn. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending them!

Laura was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel comfortable. Was incredibly respectful and read the family situation perfectly from the moment she met with us. Her explanations of the process were both professional, and very easy to understand. She didn't push for anything other than what the family felt was for the best. Signposted us to various services, and made is feel like the every a spectacular of the whole experience was as important to her as it was to us. She was also readily available to answer any questions we had outwith our allocated meeting times, and genuinely comforted the family, while exuding an impressive level of knowledge about all areas of funeral care, including supports for the children, for which we can't thank her enough. It really felt like we had an advocate on the days prior, during, and following the funeral. She was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't imagine having found anyone quite so suited for the job, and/or who could have softened the entire experience for us in a way that was bespoke, and incredibly sensitive, but never patronising or uninvolved. I hope the company realises what a valuable asset they have in this particular employee. Thanks again to all, and to Laura in particular.

At such a heartbreaking time Cheska made this so much more bearable, she was so kind and sympathetic. On the day of my mum’s funeral Laura ensured it all ran smoothly and  I didn’t have to worry about any of it as I knew she had it all in hand.

Would have been a 5 star review if it were not for the flowers....

All staff at Springburn have been very good and we were all treated with respect and dignity in all aspects from arranging the funeral to how I have been treated afterwards.

Although there was a mix-up on the day with regard to the viewing this was dealt with very efficiently by the staff and I have no issues with how the mix-up was resolved.

One thing I would add though is this - the flowers.

Families need to be made aware before the funerals take place that there is an option to have these returned to the parlour where they can come and take them all/some of them for up to 2 days after the service. We were not made aware of this before hand and I certainly would not have made the decision to place them in the Garden of Remembrance if I had known this - and as you are aware - the 2 deer residing in the area had a field day with them - leaving the crematorium staff no option to remove all signs of the flowers due to the devastation caused by the said deer. Not a nice thing to find out when returning next day to collect some of them.

I hope you find the above comments constructive especially with regard to the flowers.
