From the moment we entered Knightswood funeral home we were treated with the most upmost respect and dignity. Carol explained everything to us very elequently. I phoned a few times and asked her to repeat information and she was always respectful. My family and friends were extremely impressed with funeral directors with the dignity they showed us from start of this sad time until the end of mum's journey. I cannot thank them for all their help at such a sad and difficult time,my beloved mother was in wonderful hands. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    Kind regards Yvonne

I received very personal care and advice from start to finish. They are so professional and I would certainly recommend them.

My main issues with the service were, firstly I had requested a Donation box and table to be set up at the Crematorium and then taken to the Westparc Hotel. This was for Motor Neutron Disease Scotland. It was not until the service was over that I noticed it was not there. As Billy Jamieson was there I told him. He was not aware of this request even though I had it in writing. He scrambled about and gave me a box for the hotel. This was a missed opportunity for MND Scotland at the Crematorium. The second was I had discussed retaining some of Stewarts ashes to be scattered elsewhere, I got the container and gave it to Billy Jamieson who again did not have a clue about this request. I dread to think what would have happened if I had not prompted him. I was told that I should get the ashes on 29th, unfortunately Nicola was not told about this but did her best to resolve it and bring them to me. I found Nicola very helpful, sympathetic and professional. As you know a funeral is a very traumatic experience and a reliable, caring service is required. I did not feel I got this service at all.
