Pauline was cared for with the utmost respect and dignity from the moment I called for the assistance of Summers funeral directors. 
They were dignified respectful & caring & gave me all the time I needed to make peace with Pauline leaving the house. 
When we attended the funeral home Julia was superb. She was so lovely to us she did something that was much needed with my partner. She triggered the release button & told him it was allowed & normal. 
Pauline looked beautiful & I was allowed to curl her hair so she looked more like her old self. It made me feel good to do that final thing for her & was very cathartic for us both to see her looking so relaxed instead of in such pain. 
The service was beautiful & conducted with great dignity & we were delighted with the whole experience. 
Thank you & we would definitely recommend them to anyone.

James Summers Funeralcare (JSF), Penarth were very helpful regarding my Wife's unexpected sudden death following emergency surgery at UHW and my desire for her cremation before Christmas.
My first meeting with Rachel Rees of JSF at short notice, accompanied by my two adult children was very informative and we were able to make several important decisions also agreeing a provisional date in acknowledgement that everything was dependent upon the release of my wife's body by the hospital. The follow up emails from Rachel and meetings were always very caring and helpful as was "Celebrant Julia Page" who lead the service and gave the eulogy.
The service provided by JSF has at all times been of the highest standard and this resulted in a considered celebration of my wife Sadie's life which ended too soon in her sudden death.
