We received an excellent service from James Summers in Roath, Cardiff.

The Funeral Director, Neil Bowen, and the team at Summers were friendly, respectful, professional and efficient. 

They listened to our wishes and delivered exactly what we had asked for. 

They were available to help and guide us throughout the process and Mum’s funeral was exactly as we hoped it would be. A personal and very fitting tribute.

We highly recommend James Summers for their personal approach, attention to detail and excellent service.

Excellent care from beginning to end. The only disappointment felt throughout the whole process was when dealing with Karen on reception at Roath Court. On each occasion of speaking with or meeting Karen I didn’t feel the same care & compassion from her as I had with EVERY other team member. On collection of mums ashes on Christmas Eve I was shocked and saddened when Karen presented these from underneath her desk like it was some shopping I had come back to collect. I was devastated that such a poignant moment was dealt with in such a heartless manner. Whilst I appreciate that this is an everyday occurrence as part of Karen’s role, for the families you are supporting this is of course a deeply emotional time & I felt my mum didn’t receive the respect she deserved at this point which saddened me greatly. 
I would however like to end on a positive with a special mention to Beth, Karen Jones (celebrant) and Neil who were all patient, personal, caring, empathetic & respectful. Thank you so much for your kindness at our very sad time.

James Summers were excellent throughout the entire process - compassionate and caring, they led us through every step of the process and took the tension & pressure off us and allowed us to concentrate on grieving without worrying about the funeral process itself. The funeral day was organised seamlessly & the service was excellent.
