On behalf of my brothers, Mike & Keith Brown, I would like to thank Lyndsay and his wonderful team at Vale Funeral Services for their helpfulness, innovative ideas, professionalism, sympathy and support at such a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone who attended the funeral of my beloved mum, Ursula Brown, praised the ceremony, the idea of a web page and of course the service.Thank you very much.
Additionally, I would like to thank Lorraine Barrett the Humanist Minister for her kind words and Heaven Scent for the beautiful flowers and ideas.

Lyndsey and his team provided an excellent service to me and my family. He was able to guide and support us to organise the send off that Mum deserved. He recommended using Lorraine Barrett as the celebrant for the service and she was equally as amazing and understanding as Lyndsey and his team. From just an hour with Lorraine, she managed to capture the essence of Mum and her colourful personality. The euology was perfect and even made us smile at such a sad event.










Nothing was too much trouble for The Vale Funeral Service, for example, Lyndsey kindly arranged for me to collect Mum's ashes out of normal hours as I don't live locally. He and his team were always keeping us updated through telephone calls and emails which was exactly what we needed at such an emotional time. We never had to chase him or the team for a response.

When we visited Mum in the chapel of rest, Nicola had made her look beautiful and had put just the right amount of make up on her. For the first time in months, Mum looked at peace.

We couldn't have asked for anything more from Lyndsey and team. The service was excellent from the first telephone call to the last email. I would recommend The Vale Funeral Service to everyone who is looking to give their loved one the perfect send off.

The personal and sensitive way in which the Vale Funeral Service dealt with my family following the unexpected death of my brother was faultless. Lyndsay and his team supported my family and I in such a caring and considered way, offering reassurance, regular updates as well as guiding us through the process and understanding completely how we wanted the day to go. Lyndsay managed to fit us in around a very short time frame and even despite being busy ensured that those of his team known to my brother were available to drive him to the burial ground. Those personal touches mean so much. The team were very discreet at the family service and made the day as beautiful and laid back as we'd hoped it would be. Excellent from the first meeting. Very personal service and helpful , friendly staff. Nothing was too much and the funeral service was exactly what we wanted for my father.

There are not enough words that I can use to thank Lyndsay and his team enough for what they have done for me and my mum and Nan since she passed. They have most definitely gone above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for Nans last special day and to ensure that mum and I were looked after every step. Thank you so, so much from the bottom of our hearts. They did Nan and us proud. Nothing was ever too much for them. They kept us informed every step of the way. They treated Nan with the upmost respect, which I have not seen in many other funeral directors. Truly professional to the end. Although they were extremely busy, nothing was too much for them and they went out of their way to accommodate and made us feel special. A truly lovely team. Lyndsay is the most delightful gentleman and Ben their new member of staff is such a delightful young man. Both so gentle and kind.
Losing a dear loved one is the hardest thing ever and to have to arrange their funeral on top is the most stressful thing, but I strongly recommend that people choose Lyndsay and his team to arrange everything as they are truly professional and a family and they make you part of their family too, which is extremely comforting. As I say I cannot praise them or thank them enough, but their kindness and professionalism has held no bounds. I am truly touched by what they have done over the last three weeks. God bless and thank you again so much to you all.

The team were wonderful, very caring and treated us with respect.  They listened to what we wanted or offered suggestions if we needed help.  They kept us informed at all times with the arrangements.

They were all respectful of our deceased relative and showed they cared.

They went out of their way to make sure we had the correct music we had chosen at the crematorium.

The one thing which stands out for our family, is at the crematorium, we liked the way Lydsay got out of the car half way down the driveway, bowed to the coffin and walked infront of the hearse and escorted her in.  These extra touches made such a difference.

We as a family, can't thank The Vale Funeral Services enough. Lyndsay treated us like family, made us feel like we were the only family that mattered and at a very upsetting time it was what we felt was needed; a personal touch. 
He treated our dear Bamps with the dignity & time he deserved. He was a very fine gentleman our bamps & you treated him just so, I know he would have been exceptionally proud of the service that was held for him. 

No amount of thanks will ever be enough for the wonderful care we have received, you made the hardest time easier for this family and we will be forever grateful to you and your staff.
