Fiona was excellent at the Rosyth branch nothing was too much trouble. She talked us through every step from choosing a casket to the actual funeral service. We encountered a potentially major issue but Fiona quickly resolved the issue and kept us informed regularly. We felt Mum was safe in the care of all the staff involved, she was treated with dignity and respect. I cannot praise the service enough we were pleased with everything and Fiona did our mum proud. The Funeral Director and Staff were excellent. Everything was explained beforehand and went smoothly as planned. Zara was very supportive, empathic, patient and very professional. I can not praise her enough and feel very grateful for her kindness toward myself and my family, as was the driver and Chloe at the funeral home. I would not hesitate to recommend your services. Thank you again Zara, I really appreciated everything, as did my family, you made a very difficult time bearable for us all.

The care of Richard was good and the day of the funeral was well organized.
I cannot fault this, however it came as a surprise to us to have to pay a deposit of 50% on the 14th October. This was just a week after Richard's death, however both my son and myself managed to make a joint payment to cover this.
Settling the Balance: We applied to the Scottish Government for financial help, but I am not in receipt of any of necessary benefits in order to qualify but have failed to send out the requested 'letter of refusal' which I need to send to a charity for proof, so they can help us. The CoOp are aware of the situation, and I now have 14 days in which to settle the bill. I have been advised by the charity not to pay directly to the funeral director, as they cannot make payments retrospectively, so I feel very much at the mercy of Government red tape and incompetency. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Chloe and Wendy were most helpful and empathetic during a difficult time for our family. They made sure our requirements were catered for and kept us informed at all times.
Yvonne the funeral director and her colleagues ensured that everything went smoothly on the day.
The arrangements for interring my dad's ashes alongside my mum's were also taken care off.

Outstanding service from Chole as both my mum and dad's funeral were to exact details from the family and total respect and dignity throught. Very supportive and halpfull . Chloe went above all expectaions through , during and after the funerals infact still ongoing .zhara was also amasing and problem solved instantly an issue with total proffesionalsm .

Once in contact with the local funeral home, I received first class service throughout, nothing was too much trouble and would certainly recommend.


Prior to getting local contact, called the national number only to have to repeat myself on numerous occasions, the person on line kept asking if i wanted to take out a plan, i said "no, my my mother has died and she had a plan with you", he replied have you got possession of the body, the conversation went on like this until i eventually hung up and phoned later on and got someone who was able to help. The line also had a background noise similar to people talking all the time. Could this service not give you a direct line to the funeral home that will deal with the funeral hence missing out the call centre experience.
