So very pleased with the service I received, everyone was so thoughtful & kind.
Particular mention for Claire who couldn’t have been more kind, sympathetic & helpful & who has telephoned me today to see how I am & ensure I was happy with everything.
Also a mention for Matt who telephoned me the day before the funeral to ensure I was aware of the procedure on the day & on the actual day couldn’t have been any more respectful & helpful.
The celebrant who was arranged for me, Jim Maltby, was amazing & could not have conducted the service any better. Several people commented to me how wonderful he was & I believe some told him personally. 
A lovely man who, along with yourselves, made a difficult day very smooth & as free from stress as possible.
A huge thank you to all involved.

The kindness and compassion shown by all members of staff and especially Claire at Witham funeral care made the difficult time of arranging my husbands funeral as easy as it could be under the circumstances. Very professional and excellent service from all. Thank you.

The most horrific service. We were treated like we were a complete nuisance. On the first meeting we were met by Claire and were then sat in what can only be described as a shop window. The blinds were open and walking by shoppers could see us. Due to the grief we were all feeling, my sister and I were told to come back on our own next time and have some answers to the questions. On the second appointment, we were trying to arrange a date for the cremation. Claire, when phoning back and forth between the crematorium and her team, complained that the family are here with me and don't have a clue what they are doing. We sat listening to this and could not believe our ears. We chose a coffin that our mum had requested only to be told "oh I don't like those". The coffin was ordered and we were told it would be 2 - 3 days then we would be able to see mum. After not hearing anything for 5 days I rang and asked when I could see mum. I was told that the coffin had not arrived. I asked if sh ... e was joking to be told it wasn't her fault. Was also told that too much time had passed now anyway and she would have deteriorated too much anyway. At this point I had had enough and told her exactly what I thought of her unprofessional manner and the disgusting way we had been treated. Her reply was that she didn't think she had done anything wrong and she had invited us in and offered us a cup of tea !!
Thankfully after this complaint, we were transferred to the care of the Chelmsford branch and looked after by Katie - the service couldn't have been more different. However, I was still robbed of the opportunity of seeing my mum and holding her hand just one more time due to the unprofessional and uncaring attitude of Claire at the Witham branch.
Would I recommend their services ?? Certainly not at Witham !! The anguish and pain this woman caused, has added to the already horrendous time of losing our Mum. A formal letter of complaint is being sent, not that we expect to receive any reply !! more

All the staff at the branch were so very supportive at a very difficult time. Claire who Organised the funeral was amazing. I would highly recommend this funeral service.
