All the staff were extremely helpful and professional. The pre-funeral information was clear and the service went smoothly. The celebrant, Laura Manvell ensured we got the relaxed atmosphere we wanted and despite our pre-funeral communications being done electronically (because we are not local to Southend) every aspect was checked. Thank you all so much for making things so easy.

From the moment Ruth passed away and was collected from home, until the end of the funeral itself, the help and guidance we received from Co-op FuneralCare was both professional and very supportive. At no time did we feel we were under pressure and Malissa and her colleagues were very patient and sympathetic throughout the funeral preparations. They took on responsibility for many aspects we could not or did not know how to do, and fully explained the arrangements at every stage.
On the day of the funeral, words cannot express our gratitude enough. Steve and his boys guided us through the day so efficiently and supportively. They had a perfect blend of warmth, courtesy and respect, and made what was a very hard day for us a lot, lot easier. Thank you so much.

We were very happy with all the funeral arrangements for our friend Arthur.  As his relatives lived all over the world, this had not been straightforward, but we found staff at the Coop very helpful and efficient.  The funeral went very well and smoothly and it was also more affordable than expected.

Disappointed by the lack of coordination, and having paid for the most expensive funeral option finding that we had paid an extra £1000 just to have a limousine. Each time we phoned a different person answered with conflicting information. To name but a few issues. I would not recommend co-op funeral care to anyone else.
