We would recommend the Coop especially South Ockendon to anyone.  We had used the Coop many times in the past but when we lost my mum Rihanna was absolutely amazing and made what was a terrible time bearable.  We therefore asked if she would look after Barry for us and yet again she was amazing.  To us she went above and beyond to help us through a really traumatic time.  We can only but thank her from the bottom of our hearts and recommend her to anyone.  Our thanks for everything.

It seemed as we was rushed because the crematorium as running 10 minutes late, we didn't receive the cards from the flowers , we asked for a lock of hair and didn't receive that and the finger prints we got looked like a 2 year old done them.

Absolutely amazing! Violet at South Ockendon was wonderful. So attentive and understanding with a beautiful personality. I can’t thank her enough. We had a problem on the morning of the funeral with the protesters on the QE2 Bridge. Laura the Funeral Director kept in contact and supported us with so much care. Her team were amazing on the day and so very considerate. Thanks you from the bottom of my heart for making the cremation a special celebration for my beloved Dad xx

I visited the South Ockendon branch of Co-op Funeral Care when my mum sadly passed away. I met Violet, a lovely caring lady who was so helpful and friendly and if there could be a beautiful funeral, mum's certainly was. She was 96 years old and her funeral was just a wonderful celebration of her life and our every wish was catered for. Amazing service from the Co-op, thank you sincerely.

I was very pleased with the way Violet handled the whole funeral process and made things easy for us. The funeral director was also very good and rang me the night before the funeral to double check arrangements. The only slight disappointment was the arrangement of the hymn that was played at the service was not the traditional one I expected and as we were unfamiliar with this we were unable to sing along. Apart from that I was happy with the way everything was carried out.

A member of the team who we had dealing with wasn't very sympathetic towards us. We later found out that she was being left by her self at the shop and wasn't fully trained.
