I could not fault your service, from the first initial phone call to inform you of my husband’s passing, the chapel of rest where he looked so at peace, to the day of the funeral whereby everyone was so compassionate and helpful, I really cannot fault any of the service offered by yourselves. We've sadly had cause to use Stibbards twice in the last 12 months and the extended family once and the service has been impeccable on each occasion. Debbie in Leigh is organises everything expertly and sensitively and the professionalism and consideration and kindness of the team on the day and especially the director is exceptional. Stibbards are proudly local and so well connected with relevant other firms and organisations in the area (solicitors, registry office, florists etc.) that this makes things even more efficient. And oddly in the Covid period some aspects of the certification and other processes were made smoother. Thank you for a wonderful job Stibbards.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Debbie for looking after me during the process of organising my Dad’s funeral. Her kind words and support was much needed, as I was dealing with everything on my own, and coping with my seriously ill mother at the same time. She gently advised of the choices that were available, and that there wasn’t any pressure to make decisions quickly.


I also wanted to thank Simon for subtly guiding me through what I needed to do on the day. I appreciated everything he did, and the little touches made a huge difference. For example, asking me if I would like a flower from the floral tribute – that was very thoughtful!

Finally, I wish to thank all the other staff that work behind the scenes, they also contributed to making the day run smoothly.

Sensitive and understanding- They do their own printing so I could change the eulogy right up to the day before the funeral. All in all I felt there was always somebody to support me.
