It has taken me a couple of months to get round to writing this review, but I felt I really wanted too.

The care and kindness we received as a family on the death of my father was outstanding.

June Beverley and Paul at the Manford Way, branch were just amazing. Their guidance in arranging my late father's funeral service was second to none.

We asked for advice regarding a celebrant to conduct the service. They recommended Vicky Corderoy and I thank them and her from the bottom of my heart.

The questions she asked and information gathered from us, allowed her to compose the most heartfelt service I could have wished for.

My thanks to all the staff concerned for making a heart breaking time so much easier, for my mother my family and myself.

I could not fault their professionalism and compassion.

The whole team did a thoroughly professional service for us… but as important was their kindness and the manner in which the team did what was required and guided us through a difficult time.

From start to finish the process for my husbands funeral I was shown care & sympathy. All options & costs were explained by June. The funeral director (unable to recall his name) was attentive & professional. Vicki the celebrant was helpful and delivered the words beautifully. Thank you

This is the second time we have used the Co op funeral service and again we were very pleased with almost every detail. The staff are excellent, very professional and caring. They check with you regularly both before and after which is greatly appreciated. My only criticism is that, because of the package we arranged for mum we were unable to get the Order of Service cards printed through them! I felt this added unnecessary stress on top of what is already a difficult situation. I do appreciate this is not the fault of the staff at the shop who are first class.

The help and advice has been fantastic throughout. The service was lovely and our celebrant so supportive. We just had an issue with the route taken to the cremetorium which was totally out of the way and far too long. Miscommunication between me and the funeral director. What would have helped is for me to have the telephone number of the front hearse and for a map with the route drawn on. It was very upsetting.

Very pleased with the service and sympathetic chat with the lady I saw. Good value I believe for the type of cremation requested. Just wished I could have been officially allowed to participate in the funeral proceedings as standard. However, it turned out well, thanks.

Far beyond any expectation I had, the Co-op Chigwell over delivered to such an extent I cannot recommend them highly enough. Every single person I had occasion to deal with personally had the time and sensitivity to make a difficult time the best it ever could be. My Mum would have loved you all. Thank you so much.
