We were taken great care of and dealt  with compassion . We were allowed all the time we needed on each occasion when we visited the premises .

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Co-op funeral care in Chigwell. They made what could be a very difficult time so easy, from the planning stage to the actual funeral itself.

Everyone is so wonderful there and I felt welcome and treated me well. Beverly and June was great. Paul and Darren was also great. They also made a nice cup of tea and nice mug of coffee. Everyone did a wonderful job. Everything went well and just wanted to say Thank you to everyone.

We looked at a number of local funeral directors some months before my mum died, to find out what we'd need to do and how they could help when the time came. We were impressed with June at the Chigwell branch. She was sympathetic but also practical and reassuring and we felt in safe hands. When mum sadly passed in October we were fairly clueless about what we'd need to do and when but again a quick phone call with June was very reassuring, we made a plan straight away and went in to sort things out the next day. All our options were explained to us clearly and we were also clear about what we needed to do and when. We did not feel under any pressure at all and could choose exactly what we wanted with June's help and support. The celebrant June suggested to us, Vicki Corderoy, was also great, she helped us decide what we wanted to do for the funeral service and completely "got" our mum and what we all wanted as a family. Beverley and Paul at the branch were similarly helpful and sympathetic, and Paul ran the show respectfully and efficiently on the day. We really couldn't have asked for more - basically everyone involved made a difficult thing easy and stress free for us all and we gave our lovely mum exactly the send-off we wanted for her. Thank you.

From the very first meeting, my brother and I were made to feel welcome, the attention to detail was exemplary.  We were kept informed at every stage.  On the day of the funeral they were on time and made sure everyone was looked after.  The funeral director even arranged a personal detail regarding my Mother which was much appreciated.  We couldn’t have wished for a better service.

All staff very helpful and accommodating at a very difficult time. Not that anyone wants to return to a funeral directors, but I would definitely use their service again and have requested my children go there when my time comes. Very respectful and kind.
