Thank you, it all went well as far as funerals can go. To be honest it was a better experience than I had hoped. The Funeral care was  taken well care of.

Kath at Clacton was extremely good and understanding but when she was away for 2 weeks I was left tearing my hair out and constantly phoning to find out what was happening. Spent 2 weeks chasing my grandmother's belongings to come back to the family, was told they would be there within a few days but then told car had a blow out on way back and they are back at great tey, it took 2 weeks for them to come back to clacton . I even had to put a plan B in place regarding the funeral as was not contacted before hand to confirm anything or even if the celebrant was even turning up! I had no idea if a collection pot would be there for chosen charity, I had to phone the FD who we had ordered over from another company to find out what time flowers needed to be taken down! The FD that we had requested was amazing on the day & Once Kath returned communication resumed and she is an asset to the company but I can assure no family should have to think about having to do the service themselves incase things don't go to plan as nothing was confirmed a few days prior like they said it would be

From start to finish Kathy made things straightforward and simple.
We were given a great service, everything was explained. Distance was a problem for us, Kathy went out of her way to facilitate things when we couldn't get into the funeral home.
The staff on the day were very good . I got a call the night before to check i knew exactly what was happening on the day and they put me totally at ease .
Kathy put me in touch with Steve the celebrant who was lovely to work with.
The result was a lovely service that my Aunt would have loved.

They have been amazing through this difficult time. Contacting us with updates. And contacting us to run through how our mums day was going to go.double checking everything we ask for the day.Called us  after the funeral to see how we were and that our mum had the best send of with 2 beautiful horses. Can't thank the team at Co-Op Funeral Care, Clacton-on-Sea enough for their support and guidance with Mum's funeral. Matt and Kathy were there for us every step of the way, clearly explaining the process, keeping us up to date and notified of the arrangements and always showing such empathy, patience and understanding and all of this was carried out in a friendly and personal way too. On the day of the funeral Matt and his team were so professional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and went out of their way to ensure that everyone was supported. Would highly recommend.
