We cannot thank Stibbards enough for their professional kind compassionate  energy in the organisation of my son Phoenix's funeral.
I was lost never having had to organise anything like this before  yet their support helped my surviving son and i to organise the most personal and heartfelt celebration of Phoenix’s life .
At every point they were there for us supporting and advising and making our personal Touches come to life  in the unique way that we needed it to be .
We did not have a large budget but it could not have been any more beautiful for our cherished son and brother.
We could not recommend  Stibbards enough  they are a truly amazing  family company and they clearly understand the honouring  of life  in every aspect surrounding  these tragic occasions.
We  are  so grateful that such a warm  Company like this exists and  cant praise them enough .

At a most difficult time Stibbards made everything go smoothly. Taking care of all the details and being very attentive from our first meeting. They made you feel like they actually cared about your loss. I would thoroughly recommend.

We cannot thank the team at Stibbards enough, for the excellent service and professionalism they provided. They helped make my Mum, Grace Shearer’s funeral, as pain free and as efficient as possible.  After our initial meeting with Maria, everything was taken care of, exactly as we requested. 

Everyone at Stibbards, including office staff and funeral car drivers, were very professional and helpful. 

The funeral conductor Jon Stannard was excellent and struck the exact tone we wished for at my Mum’s funeral.  Again, after an initial meeting with Jon, everything was understood and he delivered a wonderful tribute to my Mum which we were very impressed with. Everyone at the funeral remarked on how lovely and fitting Jon’s service was. 

The florist which Stibbards organised (The Flower Fountain) provided us with beautiful sprays and flowers. All of the little extra touches (like thistles and tartan ribbon) were really appreciated. The flo ... wers were, again, exactly as we requested and more.

We can’t recommend Stibbards and the team highly enough. They certainly took a weight off of our mind when organising Mum’s funeral.  Everything on the day was perfect. Thank you so much for helping us give my beloved Mum such a special funeral, just as she deserved.

Stibbards were excellent- mum had already paid for her funeral and organised a lot but Wendy went through everything with us carefully and kindly.
On the day of the funeral Stibbards were kind and respectful and we felt really looked after. Scott was very kind and considerate and we really appreciated the way he made sure everything went smoothly and that we were ok.

The physical aspects of Stibbards service were conducted impeccably, collection of deceased, provision of transport and due politeness. We were a little disappointed with some aspects of the clerical procedure but overall the day went very well.

Wendy was excellent with explaining, planning and communicating with us all throughout and we felt reassured that our Dads funeral was being organised in the best hands. On visiting Dad in the Chapel of Rest I was reassured that he had been given the best care- we were also offered support at this time. On the day of the funeral, Stibbards were absolutely brilliant. So respectful, discreet and organised. We were all so impressed. Their attention to detail was really noticed by all. Thank you for making such a difficult time a little more bearable.

My dearly missed mother had made a funeral plan with Stibbards and I have to say they exceeded my expectations at every stage. They handled so much of the difficult and depressing parts of the planning without us having to worry. The service itself was beautiful and organised to the exact specifics we and mum wanted, planned perfectly and every little detail accounted for. They even went out of their way to seek out a priest who knew my mum and other personal touches. The staff were always friendly but respectful and decorous on the day. Fantastic local company.
