We were well looked after from time of my husbands passing until the time of his funeral.
Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff involved. Every one was very caring and respectful from start to finish.

Everything was perfect and professional right from when I first went into the premises to book the service for Helen would have gave you 5 stars but the sandwiches were not very fresh I know that is out of your control but thought I would point it out many thanks for your help at such a heart breaking time for myself

My sisters and I were absolutely delighted with the services of Scotmid. Every member of the team, led by Richard, was simply marvellous. They were extremely courteous and polite. Richard himself took full control admirably, and left us with no concerns whatsoever.

Scotmid Funerals Coop, Liberton Brae, Edinburgh.

Our family had the devastating need to use a Funeral Directors for the sudden unexpected death of a family member with the body having to be Repatriated back to the UK from Spain.  I made contact with Scotmid Funeral Coop on Liberton Brae, Edinburgh to see if they could deal with this. Allan Taylor was my first point of contact and I can honestly say his compassion and professionalism was excellent. He kept in contact with me throughout the Repatriation and the days beyond, which continued on for 5 weeks. He also assisted greatly with our decisions for our family members funeral. On the week leading up to the Funeral, Allan had planned Annual Leave and we were passed over to Victoria Jackson. Again, Victoria was compassionate and professional and she went above and beyond to console my mother when we spent some alone time with our family member.  Victoria also sourced pink ties for Scotmid Staff to wear on the day of the Funeral as she knew this was our family members favourite colour and we would all be wearing pink. The Funeral was absolutely beautiful and really captured the essence of our loved one. The Humanist, Lisbeth Dick, delivered a beautiful compassionate Service which was extremely emotional, yet lovely to listen to as it was delivered so beautifully.  It has been an extremely horrendous dark time in our lives yet Scotmid Funerals Coop done absolutely everything they could to make it that little bit easier for us.❤️❤️❤️

Excellent and compassionate customer service from all from the first day of arranging my mother-in-laws funeral  service through to the actual day of the service and cremation.

Every care was taken to make things as smooth and orderly as could be and I very much appreciated all my 'last minute' requests being dealt with kindly. This was my third experience of Scotmid at Liberton Brae as they also dealt with my parents' funerals and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Everything was perfect. From start to finish. Muriel was fantastic, nothing to much trouble for her. Christine was amazing, she turned the car so Mum's 94 year old friend wasn't far from the car door & so respectful as they all had green feathers in their lapels in memory of mum. Muriel also called the day after Mum's funeral to ask how it all went & how we were.
Service was so personal & everyone did more than 100% for mum & the family.
I would highly recommend Scotmid to everyone.
