I imagine nobody feels good when a much loved partner dies. However Helen was gently sympathetic and raised my battered self esteem. Helen gave freely of her time and support and this was furthered by the celebrant, Louise. They helped me believe that while the focus of the day was, correctly, on Valerie, I, as the bereaved was the most important person there.
The service was far better than I could have hoped for and they helped prevent me slipping into depression, which of course would have helped no one.

On such a sad occasion everything was treated with compassion and everyone with dignity. Everything was clearly explained in a sympathetic way that made the whole process far less painful than, as a family, we were expecting.

The care we have received as the executors of the Late Joan Kennedy has been excellent, very supportive with all that needed to be arranged both in Eastbourne and burial in Fleetwood. Julia was been available and helpful especially as two of us live in London and all the team ready to attend to everything, including the Fleetwood weather of Monsoon rain for the burial. All the arranging with the requirements in Fleetwood were done so easily with Julia and we are grateful.

The flowers for the coffin which I paid extra for were poor quality for the money and it made me very sad that they weren’t good enough for my lovely husband. It upset me on the day and I’m still thinking about it now. 
I’ve rated average overall as I do not feel it was good value for the money overall but acknowledge the service was short and the arrangements were therefore minimal. Julia and Alison were wonderful. Response times to queries were also brilliant, as was the ability to keep in touch when needed. Staff were so kind, thank you

The service we received arranging my fathers funeral was superb. All the people at Eastbourne Funeralcare were friendly, helpful and compassionate in guiding us through making the arrangements and meeting our wishes. On the day, the funeral was well planned and went without any problems. Thank you to everyone there, especially Julia and Ben.

Obviously, organising the funeral of a loved one is not one of the most pleasant tasks. Notwithstanding that, I cannot speak highly enough of how Adela Funeralcare dealt with me and handled a recent funeral of a relative, who had requested that I look after her affairs following her death. She had a pre-arranged funeral plan with Adela. As I don't live in UK, I was only able to travel, in person, for one meeting to the office in Eastbourne to initiate the funeral arrangements. Helen Harrison dealt with me. She was so understanding of my situation and discussed in detail my relative's funeral wishes. She kindly assured me that she would ensure that all wishes would be carried out, as stipulated. In the intervening weeks prior to the funeral, she kept in regular contact - updating me re her communication with the priest and crematorium. On the day of the funeral, Fiona (whose surname I do not know) took charge of directing a very sanctified, dignified funeral ceremony. Mike (whose surname I do not know) drove us in the limousine. Both Fiona and Mike were extremely kind and helpful on the day. Following the cremation, they gave us adequate time to visit the site in the crematorium where another relative's ashes had been scattered previously. My experience of Adela Funeralcare is that they are highly efficient in funeral organisation and extremely kind to the bereaved.

This is the 3rd time (unfortunately) I've used this Funeral Director and have once again had excellent service. 
My initial meeting with Abby was very helpful even though I hadn't yet been able to register my brother's death. And from then on, communication by phone and email was very good.  Abby was so efficient- liaising with other parties involved and keeping  me updated at every stage. I received such a personal service and really appreciated all their help and advice.

From start to finish when my father passed away and co-op funeral directors came to collect him from the nursing home, the next day they rung me explained everything and kept me informed on the process Paul was 100% professional from start to the cremation and I can’t fault them on anything

Generally very helpful and efficient. Sensitive on the day.
Only caveat was being hounded by legal department to use it for probate.
