My sister and I met with Helen who was very sympathetic and just so good to talk to.  We had to change our date for the funeral, and she was very helpful. She suggested a celebrant for us, who was ideal, as although we knew she had been active at the church Mum had attended in the past, it transpired that she had also known Mum.  We were kept up to date with anything that was needed on the day, and everything went  smoothly.  We could not have asked for more.

At such a traumatic time in my life all the stress was taken from me with such kindness and genuine care I was taken step by step on what to do I have never arranged a funeral before I received phone call aftercare and also after the funeral to see how our family are please don't hesitate to use genuine caring people thank you so much.

We were so pleased with the support we received from Helen when planning my Dads funeral. Helen was so helpful and very easy to communicate with. She made the whole process, which was new to us, much easier to deal with than we imagined. Ben was also very helpful and made us feel very confident everything was going to run smoothly. The funeral was absolutely wonderful for my Dad and we are all extremely grateful for Helen and Bens part in that.

Helen at Eastbourne Funeralcare looked after us very well. My friend had left instructions for his funeral which I was able to discuss with him and his wishes were carried out to the letter. Helen also managed to find the plot within the crematorium where his partner's ashes were scattered 19 years ago and where his ashes have also now been scattered. A big thank-you to Helen and all the team.

Just one thing to take issue with and that is NO heating in the crematorium on a cold wet miserable December morning at 11am.

I mostly dealt with Helen, she was very professional, and caring, she kept us informed every step of the way. Kept in contact with regular phone calls and emails to ensure the day was exactly what we wanted. The day of the service was dealt with by Ben who was also very professional and run exactly the way we wanted it.
I would highly recommend took alot of stress off for us as a family and am forever grateful.

Very little communication. Insurers blaming funeral arrangers for delay and vica versa.After a long time of being passed around, we made a complaint and things finally got moving. Added a huge amount of stress to a grieving person.

I was impressed by the quality of the services offered by Funeralcare Eastbourne.
At a very difficult time after the loss of my wife, I needed to be guided and reassured with all the arrangements regarding the funeral. 
The staff at Funeralcare listened attentively to all my suggestions, accepted the modifications I made after our initial meeting and always showed compassion and support.
The service went exactly as agreed. 
Our family and friends expressed their appreciation at the professionalism to all involved.
Thank you so much for making this occasion as « bearable » as possible.
